I missed Marchand getting the initial penalty. Still glad Krebs gave it back and then some. Also glad Okposo jacked up Hathaway. And Stillman with several punishing hits. I thought the Sabres played tough and looked ok until the bs penalty on UPL. Everything fell apart after that.

The fact that Krebs out-Marchanded that big beak punk was glorious. Brad came up high in the head/neck area with a cross check, refs didn’t bother to call anything, Peyton immediately takes serious exception to it and gives it back x2. How long has Marchand been a thorn in our side? 10-12 years? Not once can I remember a player like Krebs so decisively act to give him what he gives out. Let alone give it back harder. Please bring in more players with this mindset. Too many years of players getting run and after the whistle shenanigans that are never responded to. Krebs is quickly becoming THE fan favorite.

The Sabres could make my night if they somehow get after Marchand. It won’t happen, it never does but man would I be a happy camper seeing him writhing in pain.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they score half as many goals as the Broons. This has beat down written all over it.

Bjork was being outplayed by at least a half dozen Amerks forwards. Hinestroza looked like Pavel Bure compared to Andres. Dude brought nothing. Zero. Zip. To the AHL.

Eh I’ll celebrate when they stop being the best team in the NHL.

I definitely read this as Buffalo’s best week. I was wondering why it involved a sandwich, although Beef on Weck can certainly bring me much joy.

If anything was ever day to day, it’s the unpredictability of BM. And this is why I think these designations are goofy. Day to day. What does that mean? One day? Seven days? Eleventy Billion days? Every other sport seems to have figured out better terminology.

What’s the threshold? Aren’t they winning now? Maybe it’s just the die hards as we see the potential unfolding. Casual fans tune in to a game like last night and say same old Sabres I guess. This should be driving Adams to at least make a push for the playoffs. One good playoff series will inject life into this fanbase.
