I watched him play almost every game last season. He had highlights but Quinn drove play significantly more when on the ice. Victor Olofsson was more like Quinn. Tage Thompson was more like Quinn. Peterka just didn’t pop like those guys in the A. More Mittlestadt than Thompson.

The train horn is old guy repellent. I’m running for the hills when I hear that damn thing. I’ve muted my television when I hear it. Some fans claim to enjoy it. Like I said, maybe it’s an age thing.

I’m not sure how anyone came to any other conclusion after listening to ever player, coach and Sabres related personnel. They have praised KO leadership endlessly. For some reason, because Tuch goes to Bills games and tells stories about how he was a fan growing up meant he had some sort of inside track on the C.

Regardless of letters, if they guy they call Dad isn’t ready to play, I feel like the kids may suffer.

I feel like Kyle missing the start of the season, especially when we all expect him to get the C, is a set back this team really can’t afford. I hope he’s ready to go.

I’ve stated it at least 3 times in this thread, judging Comrie playing behind an AHL defense facing the best forward group in the Eatern Conference isn’t going to give you anything but bad results. I don’t agree at all that Cozens has struggled. He’s gotten the worst matchups defensively while playing with borderline NHL talent on his wings. In my mind, he’s excelled.

That they would ice an AHL lineup against the Pens top guys, I know.

The ECHL guys are gonna have trouble with it What’s the value in this? So ***** stupid. This just in (from Dan and Rob), the Penguins top 6 is “lights out”. Without mentioning the Sabres have half a dozen beer leaguers in their lineup.

I like Granato as much as anyone but I don’t understand icing this craptastic lineup against the Pens regular lineup. What’s the point? Please don’t judge this game as anything other than daddy dunking on his kids. This isn’t relevant to anything.
