Physical talent he was right there with Orr and Lemieux. You are correct he smoked like a chimney and didn't have the maniacal drive like gretzky.

well 8 is more accurate...but I didn't want to upset anyone sports are learned very early on. ball skills being the main thing. you can learn to be a great LB or DE or OL. But some things have to be learned at a very young age. Show me a pro tennis player who didn't start playing when they were practically toddlers

disagree. you substitute ferguson for Kelly with kellys teammates and there is a drop off....but not much of one. and comparing Kelly to hasek.....no way is jim close to hasek as far as being all-time great in their sport's.

you cant learn to be an accurate passer after the age of 10. by then its ingrained. yes he can learn to be less inaccurate--and if the playcalling is extremely limited then he can be a decent back-up in this league because of his size/running ability.

I think Brady is top ten...but you have to consider he has had great teams around him and probably the greatest coach(kudos to walsh and oLombardi). If Buffalo had drafted him it would have been a completely different story. Guys like ken Anderson didn't have the teams/organizations.

Nothing will happen to Brady. what is so silly is that he didn't need to do this stuff.And probably thought he was just bending the rules a bit like everyone else does.

not really. we didn't make that horrendous draft choice. All the avg FL state fans and anyone with any common sense knew not to draft him with that high a pick if at all...except for the geniuses at one bills drive who have contributed to the bills 15 yr horror story at QB.At some point laughter is good medicine.

well I wasn't really focusing on the gretzky part....but mcdavid is the most exciting hockey player to come out since at least Crosby...and he could become a gretzky. But the way you stated it made it seem as if there was in fact drop off from gretzky to Lemieux .That is debatable.they are both on the hockey mount rushmore with ORR and HOWE. Eichel wont be that kind of a player. McDavid 'could' be.
