  1. Call the consistency police. I just insulted corporate America!
  2. Best debate yet .... No need to wonder why ...
  3. Interesting reads, here .... Grateful!
  4. Zero! I stopped at Stochastic Processes! Dr. Severo, 1983. A long time ago, but you may have heard his name in faculty lounges.
  5. I used "for" as well. I think your language works better.
  6. Root canal, colonoscopy, Edwards .... In that order. "Hey, Jack, ever call out Zdeno for going after someone smaller?"
  7. Awesome ... sigh, the humanity. Great story. My mind's eye can see the corporate suit making the phone call asking about John's kids. You just KNOW they had some conference room meeting strategizing around different approaches to get Scott to back out. His kids ... His KIDS! He should drop his gloves at the opening face off just to palm walsh the league.
  8. I had to google "DM".
  9. Most grateful ... and I hope he's half as passionate, diligent, energetic and courageous as you.
  10. I have a thought on snap chatting and "down in DMing". First I'll say that everyone's different and to each his own. I don't care and my view of him isn't relevant to anyone except me. On to my thought. If I were an advisor of his, or a friend, I'd tell him to knock it off. He's being investigated by men and women for a sex crime. There will be dozens of facts and circumstances. Investigators, or human beings, are going to have to apply their judgment with regard to if, or how, they move forward. To an extraordinary extent, his future is in the hands of others who will apply their best judgment. Who knows how a snapchat story affects even one investigator, prosecutor, or witness? The stakes are high and he's in a situation he can only tangentially influence. It's just unwise (dumb might be a better word) to be seen as a reckless skirt chaser in this situation. When the Feds are investigating you for a bank robbery, buying pink Cadillacs and lighting cigars with $100 bills isn't smart, even if you're using 1st communion money. One person's judgment call could change the trajectory of his life. Put the cell phone down.
  11. I "re-enjoyed" your post this morning.
  12. Oh, you didn't! I'm happy! He is, too ... just talked to him. I realize now that my last post may have read like an "outing". Not my thought at all. With the handle, I don't think it was his thought, either. In fact, I know it wasn't his intention to keep a secret. Although, with me as the dad, who'd blame him. You made my day. PS ... Riff Raff reference by WildCard cracked me up. Mrs Neo. .... "Who's that?!" She knows we're all boys at heart.
  13. Thank you all for the gracious welcome to my son. I posted without acknowledging the relationship earlier today because, frankly, I didn't know HE wanted it known. I am a load. He is a good man. I am a lucky man. His mom's awesome sauce. Grateful, all ... and keep up the good work, Junior!
  14. Interesting to me. There's more "race" in the article than my ears have alerted me to. I understand "immigration" can be code, but it's an issue regardless of race. Most interesting. I'll adjust my ears.
  15. I cheer wins. I love having a competitive hockey team. I like the players. I'm not looking for losses as part of the path to a cup. I was definitely in the "we've come this far, don't screw McEichal up" camp last year. That said, a low finish won't bother me. I don't want a tank or root for losses, but if we have a top 4 pick, I'll be excited at draft time. I watched the WJC thinking "he's a guy we might get". Most importantly, I see developmental use of talent from time to time that may not be "we need a win tonight" use. I may see that more in posts on SabreSpace. See Ink's Tank 3.0 thread. I think that's smart. Stop feeling guilty! To blugold - I dig the Stu link.
  16. I think the Republican debate viewership numbers are just fine. The Dems may soon need Tina to run. Reports say FBI will recommend indictment to DOJ. Tom DeLay. Certainly no stranger to indictment, himself, but the message is more important than the messenger. Multiple news agencies are reporting. The server, email, Foundation and corruption investigations are merging. There will be lower level folks who may be caught up. Among the issues: how did classified information get to the home brew system. Explanations of secure systems, unsecured systems, jumping the gap, cutting and pasting are in the articles. This is breaking. I've not seen the major networks, yet. Fox has a lot of it. Knowing the reception Fox gets here, I'll link: http://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/clinton-email-scandal-newest-smoking-gun-is-an-assault-rifle/ Clinton, Trump, Cruz, Bloomberg .... an election piƱata.
  17. ^ TBJ you can post that forever
  18. I laughed.
  19. Rdinedhrdt - outstanding.
  20. Who was the big Lazar fan? I recall back in those draft conversations ... Was it our prominent old friend, now gone?
  21. Jack ... Strong on his skates. The kind of play I get concerned about him being able to make at this point in his first pro season grind. He looked strong. And I loved the glass "bu,p" after the goal to the Sabre jersey fan in row 1.
  22. I can think of many adjectives. I'd not get to "interesting"! Oh, man, I can't imagine being there. You know my politics. Picture the guy with a can of gasoline sitting next to Ted Striker in "Airplane".
  23. You both made me laugh!
  24. Are you forgetting Palin or leaving her out deliberately?
