  1. I can still hear Ted Darling saying, ā€œPerreault winding up in his own end.ā€ And wind up he did with countless end to end rushes. Fun times.
  2. I gotta wonder if the PP wouldn’t be at least a little better if it weren’t currently missing four contributors.
  3. For the record, I never thought of him as the throw-in and the fact he is playing better than Kesselring underscores the fact that he wasn’t.
  4. Welp. And then the wheels fell off.
  5. Especially considering the current state of the roster and getting little to nothing from Tuch and Tage. Agreed. He has been less than expected.
  6. And to think he was the throw-in.
  7. I thought this was the best team we faced when we saw them in Buffalo and Utah has done nothing to change my mind on that.
  8. Tage can’t go back to the wing fast enough.
  9. Same one we faced in Buffalo.
  10. Damn. I miss that team when Lindy would roll four and opponents were just overwhelmed.
  11. Sweet. Rosen with a pair!
  12. I thought that’s exactly what some of us were doing. Dahlin isn’t looking for an excuse to leave Buffalo, but he has a good reason to be away if that clarifies things.
  13. We sure do miss that little bastard, don’t we?
  14. There’s a difference between an excuse and a reason. That said, if this hiatus to check on Carolina’s well-being and ease his mind a bit serves to hasten his return, then the time away will have been well spent.
  15. I like the cut of your jib.
  16. Well, he has certainly looked distracted at times this season. More than I remember him being in the past anyway. Perhaps I’m seeing things and unfairly projecting this baggage onto him.
  17. Those three points are a screaming indictment of Joe Brady and our offensive quality control coach and their inability to self scout worth a damn.
  18. I remember reading a scouting report on McConkey that said he lined up as an outside receiver nearly 80% of the time while playing for Georgia. I think there were two factors in him being projected as a slot in the NFL: his stature not being ideal for a boundary receiver at the next level and his off the charts quickness and route running that lends itself so much better to the slot.
  19. This is the most probable outcome and I don’t think it bodes well for Dahlin’s performance if he’s on that kind of emotional yo-yo all season.
  20. I’m not sure how any victory laps by you or anyone else would be in order as I don’t think anyone came close to suggesting Dahlin wasn’t coming back; just that it’s easy to see how he might decide not to for a while. If Carolina cannot travel for a year and frequent follow-up appointments are required in the first year after the procedure, is it unreasonable to think that Dahlin may choose to remain by her side until she is deemed medically in the clear?
  21. I knew that. But thought I’d ask the question, anyway. šŸ˜„
  22. I appreciate where you’re coming from here with regard to the Eichel trade, but I need to see how Ɩstlund turns out before I can truly judge it. That said, only one team received a potential HOFer in the trade as it stands currently.
