If you don’t see the similarities in ideologies and tactics between 1930s Europe and the far right agenda being implemented in the USA today, then you don’t know the history of the fascist movements in the last century as you claim, you refuse to see the similarities, or both. Either way, it’s incumbent on those of us who do know the history, who can see the similarities, and who refuse to wait until it’s too late like the weak citizenry and politicians of appeasement who just stood still and just watched it happen in the past. One side note: it’s curious how Trump’s father and grandfather attended Nazi rallies in New York in the 1930s and openly supported the German American Bund and their various youth camps modeled after the Hitler youth camps. Trump used to brag about how he never had to use his own money in business, but bank loans instead. Overnight, his business went from a credit model to a strictly cash model. They had to muzzle Eric because he bragged about that fact. It’s also worth noting that the first time Trump publicly criticized NATO was after that 1987 Russian visit. Only idiots think that is mere coincidence.

It’s a legitimate question and you should be thanking that judge for requesting additional information from fed prosecutors (that they refused to provide) instead of labeling him a left wing terrorist sympathizer who is ok with terrorists staying in America.

The judge ASKED for the littlest of due process and the fed lawyers DID NOT PROVIDE IT. Instead, they tried peddeling bs about the plane being over international waters where the judge didn’t have jurisdiction. Damn right the onus is on the administration.

Are you aware that this judge previously oversaw the Alien Terrorist Removal Court and he is perfectly aware of who’s been designated a terrorist group or not? Did you read why the judge ruled the way he did? That he requested additional information from government lawyers on the flights and the people being deported and that those lawyers have refused to provide it? Are you aware that he also has a concern that not every deportee on those planes is part of that terrorist group as claimed by the government? A lawyer for one of the deportees said the reason her client was designated part of the terrorist group is because he has tattoos? You may give a crap or not, bur there are rules of law that still matter. Perhaps Trump and his federal prosecutors in this case should respect that and let the process play out according to that rule of law instead of labeling those judges who don’t immediately give them what they want as left wing traitors.

There is no need to adjudicate anymore because when Trump says someone is a terrorist or any other type of criminal, that’s the verdict. The rule of law means nothing to these clueless idiots.

We are too ignorant of history and too stupid to understand it even if we weren’t. But Eastern European and other European NATO countries aren’t. Especially Poland and Czechia whose people remember the Russian tanks rolling into their homelands. It sucks for Ukraine, but these countries will not watch while Russia rolls westward thru Ukraine. Instead, they will make Ukraine the battlefield before Russia can get close enough. They have ZERO reason to have ANY faith in what Putin says. None. At. All. Another move out of the NAZI Germany playbook to add to the previous moves out of that playbook. Trump is a toddler having a perpetual tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. He is clueless about checks and balances. I want to see the actual charges brought against this judge and how many GOP reps have the stones to stand up for our system of government.

Lindy’s additional comments about “having each other’s backs” went farther than just going after the opponent in sticking up for a teammate, which Lindy said is a given. Lindy said that having each other’s backs also means hustling to make up for a mistake made by a teammate and making a better play. I thought that was spot on.
