  1. I see Noah Laaouan got his first point for the Amerks with an assist on Kulich’s goal, which was a beauty of a breakaway goal. Nice to see Kulich getting his game back just in time for the post season.
  2. Swift Current scores three unanswered in the 3rd and runs away with game 1, 7-2. Appears Moose Jaw may have really missed Our Boy Savoie tonight.
  3. Moose Jaw with two goals in the last minute and a half of the period to make it 4-2 Swift Current heading into the 3rd.
  4. Moose Jaw getting whipped 4-0 late in the 2nd of their opening game vs. Swift Current. I don’t see Our Boy Savoie listed on the roster for tonight’s game. Anyone know if he’s hurt. Again.
  5. Yeah, he milled around after grabbing Tage while Pacioretty already had a hold of him.
  6. You’ve been a fan for only 50 years? Rookie.
  7. Please! He can’t describe the action worth a damn. At least the viewing audience can see what he’s missing, but the radio listeners have little idea what’s actually happening on the ice. He too often goes a few seconds with no description and in hockey, that’s an eternity.
  8. I fully understand there’s less than a snowball’s chance and I’m not delusional, but he hasn’t re-signed with Canes as of yet, so let a man dream in the meantime, would ya?
  9. It was the sale of his oil and gas assets in Ohio and West Virginia for $1.75b in 2014 that was the means to an end to buy the Bills. His ownership of the Sabres had nothing to do with it.
  10. Coleman was mocked to us in a mock or two a couple months ago and I wouldn’t rule him out entirely.
  11. CBS latest mock has us trading down with Carolina and taking McConkey with the first pick in the 2nd round. Nothing against McConkey who is gonna be a good pro, but he’s not quite what we need at wideout currently. That said, he would give us what we’ve been missing since Beasley and that’s a guy who sees the game like a QB both pre and post snap.
  12. Well to be fair, they did hit the post on the shot they were able to get off on that final faceoff.
  13. Sorry SF in NS, but a team that has learned to play “a tight defensive game” simply does not get hemmed in and dominated in their own zone as often as we do nor does it constantly have problems clearing the front of the net like we do. The Stars were just the latest example of that. Sure it was only 3-2, but I can’t attribute much of that to a good defensive performance. Currently, we have one top pair D man, one middle pair D man, and one third pair D man. The rest can all go and we wouldn’t notice the difference.
  14. Lots? Wish I could agree. The way I see it, we are 3 ( possibly 4) D men and 6 forwards away. I think we’ve found a goalie.
