  1. He didn’t. And this has been known since he was shackled, put on a plane, and deported. Begs the question: how many other non-gang affiliated deportees were on that plane? It’s a legitimate question and you should be thanking that judge for requesting additional information from fed prosecutors (that they refused to provide) instead of labeling him a left wing terrorist sympathizer who is ok with terrorists staying in America.
  2. At least I know where to address my correspondence to that government backed group of idiots. And you are spot on that it was a campaign of dehumanization. All part of a carefully planned strategy and yet another page out of the 1930s German playbook.
  3. Yes, you are. I spent countless posts in various forums telling everyone how stupid Clinton was to say that. What organization? I see no organization at all. Antifa is a flash mob response at best. So yeah, the narrowest terms possible.
  4. You’re completely wrong about the deplorable comment as it was an idiotic thing for Clinton to say. Where is the antifa HQ and to whom should I address any correspondence?
  5. Then they should appeal as the system allows instead of calling for baseless impeachments.
  6. The judge ASKED for the littlest of due process and the fed lawyers DID NOT PROVIDE IT. Instead, they tried peddeling bs about the plane being over international waters where the judge didn’t have jurisdiction. Damn right the onus is on the administration.
  7. Are you aware that this judge previously oversaw the Alien Terrorist Removal Court and he is perfectly aware of who’s been designated a terrorist group or not? Did you read why the judge ruled the way he did? That he requested additional information from government lawyers on the flights and the people being deported and that those lawyers have refused to provide it? Are you aware that he also has a concern that not every deportee on those planes is part of that terrorist group as claimed by the government? A lawyer for one of the deportees said the reason her client was designated part of the terrorist group is because he has tattoos? You may give a crap or not, bur there are rules of law that still matter. Perhaps Trump and his federal prosecutors in this case should respect that and let the process play out according to that rule of law instead of labeling those judges who don’t immediately give them what they want as left wing traitors.
  8. There is no need to adjudicate anymore because when Trump says someone is a terrorist or any other type of criminal, that’s the verdict. The rule of law means nothing to these clueless idiots.
  9. We are too ignorant of history and too stupid to understand it even if we weren’t. But Eastern European and other European NATO countries aren’t. Especially Poland and Czechia whose people remember the Russian tanks rolling into their homelands. It sucks for Ukraine, but these countries will not watch while Russia rolls westward thru Ukraine. Instead, they will make Ukraine the battlefield before Russia can get close enough. They have ZERO reason to have ANY faith in what Putin says. None. At. All. And fuhrer Trump and gruppenfuhrer Musk can’t do anything about that.
  10. This is a pointless discussion. Learn history, study the Constitution and understand the role of the Appellate courts and then perhaps you’ll have an understanding of the bigger picture here instead of your utterly absurd notion that this judge is an advocate for terrorists. Or maybe just listen to what Chief Justice Roberts had to say on this matter. Regardless, I refuse to get sucked into another one of your rabbit holes of discussion.
  11. No, but as a restricted FA, he is limited by the Sabres’ right of first refusal.
  12. Like one of us?
  13. Another move out of the NAZI Germany playbook to add to the previous moves out of that playbook. Trump is a toddler having a perpetual tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. He is clueless about checks and balances. I want to see the actual charges brought against this judge and how many GOP reps have the stones to stand up for our system of government.
  14. Lindy’s additional comments about “having each other’s backs” went farther than just going after the opponent in sticking up for a teammate, which Lindy said is a given. Lindy said that having each other’s backs also means hustling to make up for a mistake made by a teammate and making a better play. I thought that was spot on.
  15. Not good for anyone except Trump, Jared, and their billionaire investors seeking to create Mediterranean beachfront resorts. Can’t have those pesky Palestinians messing up those plans.
  16. When the defense is absolutely flawless in front of him. Then and only then.
  17. The second Boston goal never should have counted because Marty just showed they had too many men on the ice, BY A MILE. There is no way a competent ref should miss it when it’s that obvious.
  18. War on Christmas has been an annual theme on Fox for decades now.
  19. Lying sacks of crap. All of them.
  20. The FDA approval issue was certainly of relevance for the Sabres, especially as it related to insurance and liability, but ADR was being practiced with regularity, regardless. Just not on athletes engaged in high velocity contact sports as both you and I have pointed out.
  21. I don’t disagree with the idea that patients always have a right to choose. Perhaps that issue will be re-examined in the next CBA. And of course medical opinions vary among experts, but for what it’s worth I doubt any of the doctors Eichel sought other opinions from have performed anywhere close to the number of ADR procedures as Dr. Cappuccino or have taught the technique to as many other practitioners around the world, either. Like patients, medicals practitioners have a right to choose, too, and given the lack of data on how contact sport athletes would hold up after the ADR procedure and the enormous potential liability issues, Dr. Cappuccino was absolutely correct in his opinion at the time.
  22. So you’re telling me that one of the first spinal surgeons to be certified on the ADR procedure in the USA, who teaches the ADR procedure around the world, and who has performed more of them than anyone else in the country, was wrong to advise against it? Eichel’s “extensive research” was irrelevant to the opinion of the person employed by the Sabres to render critical medical advice. That didn’t make them wrong at the time. Under the CBA the Sabres had every right to deny permission for the ADR given the advice given by a preeminent practitioner in the field.
  23. I appreciate this thoughtful response. In short, my “idea of America” is what’s expressed in our founding documents and codified in our Constitution. Agree entirely on your views of the middle class. Have you ever asked yourself what created our middle class and what’s helping to erode and destroy it? It’s worth the research. Like you, I could go on but I’ll just say I’m with you in hoping it doesn’t get much worse before we turn things around again. Which this country, read “our citizenry”, has done on several occasions in the past. In the meantime, try to hang in there.
