Thanks. 20ms is definitely insane. I was actually asking about this because my band has started rehearsing remotely. I just figured that there is way more money in video games than there is in bad cover bands over the internet, so the technology has to be better. I guess not. We jam at about 30ms. Even 4 or 5 milliseconds more makes it unusable. I’m still amazed we can do it at all.

Wow. I didn’t even put this together. Where is it and have I been there before? I camp in WNY every year somewhere.

Does anyone play games online against other folk? If so, can you tell what the latency you are dealing with is? If so, what is it usually and when is it too much to be acceptable? Just curious.

I don’t either and I saw it. But then again, I go and delete all my cookies on my iPad ever other day, so maybe they give you a couple of free articles.

Weave, I love ya, but it's really hard to argue with this. The problem I have is that, instead of keeping him because he could actually ball, and then mentor him in his real life, they just cut him loose and said he had character issues.

Work gave me yesterday and today off. That means five days off,… in a row. I don't think I have had 5 days off with nothing to do in, well,… ever. Two days in and I can't believe how much I have done and how little I've accomplished.

My wife and I drove with a friend on that road that goes right near Chikoot Pass in the dead of winter. It was 4 in the afternoon and it felt like midnight. Snow drifts halfway across the road and you couldn't see the bottom of the ravine. It was terrifying. What are ya gonna do, though. We had to get to Mt. Lorne to play hockey at the community center. Can't imagine having to hike it over and over with tons of gear.

The worst part is that because of Covid, I can’t be up there for my mom. She is 80 and I actually know people who have tested positive or been quarantined. The thought of also losing her because I brought it there from the tristate hotspot isn’t very appealing. Sux.

I lost my dad December 27. I lost my 57 year old sister to cancer yesterday. They were both forces of nature and her Facebook page bears that out today. They were both always about “what’s next.” We will weather this storm. I will weather this storm. ***** Covid. ***** cancer. OK, now, what’s for dinner.
