I think there is an overreaction, to a point. I also think the mitigation tactics will work. How could they not. Am I overreacting by getting my flu shot? To some, the flu isn’t as bad.

It’s all about the curve. As long as the number of cases can be held under the capacity of the healthcare system, until it has gone through enough people until we know they can handle the rest. That’s why we need testing, to know who is no longer at risk because they already had a mild case and didn’t know it.

This is BS. The flu poses a real threat to society and will most likely kill more people than covid this year, by a lot. There’s a reason they hand out shots for free to as many that will take it. To anyone who doesn’t get the shot, you’re welcome. I’m doing my part to up the herd immunity. And yes, Jenny McCarthy is an idiot. Still think she’s funny, though. ...and hot.

I wonder how many people who don’t get the flu shot also make fun of Jenny McCarthy for being an anti-vaxer. I wonder how many people will refuse to get a Covid shot once a vaccine is discovered. Just wondering.

So, I drive all local roads to get to work. There are always people walking, waiting for buses, shopping, riding bikes, lots o stuff. There are a lot more people outside now. Other than the increase of joggers, the one thing I’ve noticed that really stands out while driving to and from work, is, how do I say this, the hue of them is much, um, paler than it was two weeks ago. I’ve seen entire families of white people going for a walk. its nice.

I was talking to my friend last night about wild caught Alaskan salmon. The topic just sort of came up as it’s an issue he works on. I did not do a search for it. I was on a landline with my iPhone on the desk next to me. Today, the banner ad on a site I went to was for wild caught Alaskan salmon.
