aren’t they only leaving out the intermissions? I like the two hour games. I remember during this time that I didn’t have to get Center Ice because I worked until 11pm. I would come home and watch the 2 hour replay at midnight on Empire Sports Network. It was awesome.

They also weren’t met with any resistance. Until I hear about people wanting to do something and “the government” stepping in and physically barring them from doing it, I’m not too worried. And, believe me, I’m someone who thinks about this a lot. Seems like everyone is on the same page in this. I will say, though, that Trump has to do something about all the joggers. I had to pay way too much attention while driving home from work today.

Good convo and I agree with both of you. I don’t think we are even close to being there in this, though. This is just people being smart. I haven’t seen or heard of a single event of people being forced to do something by “the authorities”. Have you?

Or, they thought past it and realized that not all students are able to go to a separate room in a big ole five bedroom house for their classes. They might be stuck at a kitchen table with two other siblings in a one room apartment with two parents that are stuck at home all in the same room and that that would be far less productive. Not saying they did, but not all administrators are idiots.

Zoom is cool. You can either set it up Brady Bunch style, or have it voice activated, where the guy talking pops up to fill the screen.

Two things I wonder about with all this. First, right after the 9-11 attack all air traffic was halted. Without all the contrails left by planes, there was a greater swing in daytime and nighttime temps. That was only three days. I really wonder what all this fossil fuel that isn't being burned is going to do to the weather/climate. Second, I wonder how all the sewage treatment plants are going to fare, having to deal with all the extra surfactants due to people washing their hands so often. Just where my brain goes.

Phrases like this at times like this drive me nuts. It’s either definite or it’s not. I think “most likely” would have been a better choice, cuz we just don’t know.
