I watched the Toronto/Philly game yesterday. I thought that the TO PBP guy talked while play was going way more than Dan. He also never said score or goal on the one that I saw.

Meh. If they were like my parents, they most likely had a freezer filled with half a cow, and shelves of canned goods that would have lasted months. The only stress was would the beef fridge run out. Not new snow! Though. Most of it was blown in of off the frozen lake.

This was covered on the first page of this thread. I said there was zero new snow in that storm and was proven wrong. I looked it up and he was right.

Nobody misses Risto. And I’m not sure if anyone ever said he was good. I know we were all hoping that he would get good, because he had an aspect to his game that none of our other defensemen had. It wasn’t until Samuelsson came into his own last year that we had another Dman that could win those physical 50/50 pucks on the boards. And we have guys that still can’t do it. Again, nobody misses Risto. What’s next, a thread about how bad Eakin is? I thought (hoped) we were done hearing about these guys once they were gone.😂

In the end though, all that matters is what the teams in front of us do. Why not? When the Ducks won their cup. Neidermayer and Pronger regularly played well over half the game. We’ll be seeing starting goalies by February. I don’t think we’ll have to worry about what will happen in the playoffs.😂
