I try to teach my 7 year old that name-calling is bad and childish. She seems to get it. I may not be happy with Darcy's body of work, but I don't know him personally and therefore certainly wouldn't critique him as a man. Also, get real. How many GM's have voluntarily stepped down because some fans feel they're not getting the job done?? He'll leave when he's fired, but not before then. For the record, I hope it's soon, but just like Lindy, I wish no ill will on him as a person.

You should post more. These guys over here are intimidatingly smart, but they're a great group of people and I've learned a ton from them. They're mostly harmless, except for that Shrader guy. Gotta watch him and his crush on Gerbe playing Center... it's weird. :ph34r:

I moved to Buffalo in 1989 when I was 10. Casually watched until roughly 93-94, and that's when I became hooked. I remember in High School how awesome I thought it was that even the girls wore Sabres Jerseys and knew all the players/stats. I remember Ted Nolan and his teams, but don't really remember much of Muckler.

You think Stafford can continue the way he's performed as long as Myers starts to produce? I'm sorry, and I've liked Stafford's effort, but a top 6 foward cannot afford to not contribute in the points column and expect his team to finish anywhere but below the 8 spot. I know our D has been shaky, but I can't help but feel Stafford is the biggest issue for this team right now. They HAVE to get something out of that position. Maybe swap him and Ott, I don't know...

It'll never happen. Not with the Sabres, and not with the Bills. Not sure why, but fans still show up and still buy the merch. And to be fair, Buffalo isn't the only city where this happens.

I don't know all the technical mumbo jumbo, but basically it's turn the puck over in the neutral zone and stick check your way back to our zone, then pray our goalie withstands the 1-2 minute peppering he's about to face. Also don't hit guys, because you could be called for a penalty, duh.

Ya, I should have clarified... DirecTV offers more with their sports packages concerning HD. Regular cable folk like myself are stuck with the watered-down version of Center Ice. Although, I just found a channel that shows one Center Ice game in HD a night, so there's that.

But the nonsense makes it easier to skip over...

It's funny how people view Hockey so differently. I couldn't be more bored with this team than I am right here, right now. Even the call ups, which usually give me something to watch, haved bored me literally to sleep.

I'm pretty sure this is still the case. Every home/away feed involving the Sabres has an Asterisk next to it declaring it an SD feed only. If it matters, I have Comcast.
