  1. He was 4-0 last year before getting hurt. He also did that behind THE WORST O-line I've ever seen in any level of Football. He's no Manning, but he's leaps and bounds better than Fitzpatrick. He just needs to stay healthy, and part of that is playing behind a stable line and having better weapons around him.
  2. He's by FAR the most talented WR in the draft. He's also got the most problems. This draft will make the pre-season exciting, if nothing else.
  3. I'll say this, if any of what you're saying is in fact true, I hope Lindy is taking names. How do you, knowing you're in full rebuild mode, fire a coach with Lindy's tenure half way through a shortened season? There's no way I could ever believe this was a plan that started last year. They fired Lindy because they expected him to make the playoffs with THIS roster.
  4. Assuming 'short term suffering' is scary when it comes from a GM. We haven't even drafted yet, and the assumption is, "wow, this is gonna hurt". This wreaks of throwing sh!t against the wall to see what sticks. I've never in my life seen such leniancy given to one man. I honestly do not understand what is going on anymore with this team.
  5. Smell, if you need some "muscle" in the courtroom, I'm your huckleberry. I don't tolerate scum.
  6. lol I still can't bring myself to root for them to lose. I may just NOT watch...
  7. Oh, I was wondering how he was allowed to "tweet" in between periods... how embarrassing for me. This changes everything... wait a minute, nope. It changes nothing, he's still awesome.
  8. He is, by far, the funniest person on twitter. He regularly references his drunken stupar while in bewteen periods, his awesome photo bombing skills, etc. He also sticks up for his teammates. I love this guy.
  9. I just ordered a "Wrong Doug" from Moe's... I never eat Mexican on the weekends. We're all screwed.
  10. Ya, SabreSpace. A group fishing trip with Nathan Gerbe and Shrader top the list, followed by attending a Bills Superbowl with WJAG and then the old "poop in a bag on fire" routine at the FNC at Darcy's office with Deluca. I'm easily amused. You go to Melbourne but don't like New Smyrna? It's not Atlantis, but it has it's spots... Chasers was a joke. That would be like taking someone who'd never been to Buffalo to the Anchor Bar. I'm beginning to question you at 4... :P
  11. It was all in good fun. You're still #4 on my bucket list, to buy a beer for. Only catch;it's gotta be at Chasers in New Smyrna... In August!
  12. Educated guess... off and on for 5 years. Am I way off?? My memory is leading me to believe this isn't your first dig on the state. I thought we'd discussed it before, could be wrong though.
  13. I've never met someone who hated Florida so much. Did Mickey pee in your Wheat Bran or something?
  14. That's just it. Physically, if they weren't good at passing they'd have never made it where they are now. It's all mental. That was my point. And to your comment regarding them being pros and their skills being "automatic", that's just not accurate. My list of pros who DON'T go through mental funks would be pages shorter than the list of those who do. Everyone has down times where things you're normally effecient at become strangely difficult. I agree with you that's is an obvious issue, I just disagree with your reason for it happening.
  15. I'd really like a little more out of Foligno down this stretch, just a little more. I'm beginning to worry some.
  16. I think the " they don't care about each other" idea is a reach. I got the "yips" in High School Baseball and struggled throwing from 1st base to the pitcher. It wasn't because I didn't like him, it was a weird mental glitch I had to work through. Same probably applies here, especially with guys like Myers. They need to get back to basics, stop thinking so hard, and go out and play the game they all love.
  17. I'm getting sick of people booing a decent thread. We were on a roll, why boo us when we're posting well?
  18. Actually, they aren't. They're booing our players while they're on the ice trying to win games. If you want to boo Darcy, show up to his office and boo him.
  19. I've heard that a few times. I'm just not convinced it's not due to a horrible O-Line. I'm interested in seeing him with some time to make plays. Either way, I still want a QB in this year's draft, preferably EJ.
  20. I guess I'm not shocked by the responses, I'm more shocked at how many are able to just turn it on and turn it off in terms of wanting the team to win. Maybe it's more of "wanting the franchise to be successful", and if that means losing some games, so be it. I know that in the end, we all just want a winner. I still can't imagine watching a Sabres game and rooting against them (or rooting for them to lose, whichever).
  21. I don't mean this sarcastically, and I understand the logic behind getting a top 3 pick, but I'm curious; Do those who hope we lose actually watch the games? Like, do you root for the other teams to beat us DURING the game, or do you simply not tune in?
