Nope, according to Lindy it was a planned "rest" day, though (think he called it a maintanence day). that's why the lines being reported at practice today aren't as meaningful to me. I'm 100% with D4rk on Grigs. I'd like to see him surrounded with better talent, too.

I know it's just one loss, but I don't like the idea that this team can play so poorly in every facet of the game. Last night had an eery familiarity of what we thought we were getting rid of by breaking up the "core". I've seen that show before and am not interested in watching it again. And just like Lucic last year, the idea of making Bowman pay has come and gone. I hope they're proud of themselves. Embarrassing.

I kind of get what you're saying about Ray. He seems.... jumpy. He's not smooth at all. Still, I have a soft spot in my heart for him, so he can do whatever he wants.

Ya, he does a lot of positive things, but a scoring "touch" is a bit of a reach. One thing he does do offensively that seems to get overlooked is he puts the puck on the net. Nothing fancy, but little things like that are important.

Agreed. I always felt he was undervalued by fans. As long as the price is right, and of course he can stay healthy, this is a smart and important move for the team.
