  1. I don't know who Bob Matthews is, but he should stopping speaking out loud, forever.
  2. I'm usually better than that.... for shame. :(
  3. Exactly. And just to add, I'd rather he put it on net instead of play keep away until he coughs it up... not naming names. - OR - Dumps it in only to find his linemates decided not to forecheck this shift. Hecht plays within himself, which offensively isn't spectacular, but he's responsible and effecient. Use those two words to describe another Sabre; the list will be very, very short.
  4. Nope, according to Lindy it was a planned "rest" day, though (think he called it a maintanence day). that's why the lines being reported at practice today aren't as meaningful to me. I'm 100% with D4rk on Grigs. I'd like to see him surrounded with better talent, too.
  5. Did he specify what he was referring to when saying, "regrets"?
  6. In case anyone forgot, he (Myers) was on the ice for the Lucic/Miller incident as well...
  7. I know it's just one loss, but I don't like the idea that this team can play so poorly in every facet of the game. Last night had an eery familiarity of what we thought we were getting rid of by breaking up the "core". I've seen that show before and am not interested in watching it again. And just like Lucic last year, the idea of making Bowman pay has come and gone. I hope they're proud of themselves. Embarrassing.
  8. When you type it out that way, I read it in that guy's voice, and in the same rhythm. Now I can't undo it. You ruined my day...lol
  9. Looks like no, but he's said to be getting better. Per John Vogl on Twitter. EDIT - Saw you got your answer in the injury thread, late as usual.
  10. You need to get out more if you think Bridgeport is our armpit. And yes, I've been there.
  11. But what about the gaping hole left at Center? (Not Mike Grier)
  12. Yes, that's it. It gets awkward, like his brain isn't processing in real time. Too many blows to the head, perhaps.
  13. I kind of get what you're saying about Ray. He seems.... jumpy. He's not smooth at all. Still, I have a soft spot in my heart for him, so he can do whatever he wants.
  14. Good call, didn't notice until I watched the video replay. Maybe that's why Scott was laughing, he was embarrassed about getting beat with a body shot. Good fight, though.
  15. Must be pretty sick if he's missing the home opener. Get well soon RJ.
  16. I'm really rooting for this guy. Not sure why exactly, but I am.
  17. Ya, he does a lot of positive things, but a scoring "touch" is a bit of a reach. One thing he does do offensively that seems to get overlooked is he puts the puck on the net. Nothing fancy, but little things like that are important.
  18. I really have to start utilizing the "block" feature.
  19. Agreed. I always felt he was undervalued by fans. As long as the price is right, and of course he can stay healthy, this is a smart and important move for the team.
