Is it just me or does anyone else get pissed no one is ever in front of the net for rebounds? Every other team always have people in Millers face. Seems maybe 50% of the time we even have someone anywhere near a rebound.

Turns out Miller is in net. Guess what I heard must have been speculation. He did step up and show some balls last game. Why not? Think Rolston will change lines throughout game anyhow

I guess I don't understand this line of thinking and this passing for ok with anyone. I am not the most hockey connected person as I stated in another thread yesterday but it just seems weak to hire the Amerks coach after the season. Just my opinion I guess.

What the hell does that mean? I can't imagine this team honestly hiring Rolston on a full time basis.

Don't know about Rholston but it would seem as though that would be a dissapointing change? Would that be a good assesment?

With all due respect aren't message boards for having conversation? I don't see whats wrong about proposing an idea that you think is a good one but don't totally understand its not legal. Then you can learn something new. It's much easier to learn through conversation than it is to research everything you would ever want to write. Sorry, maybe I am taking it too personal but I don't know much when it comes to hockey. I am a die hard NFL fan and just got back into hockey when Pegula bought the team. I would call myself a "casual" fan. I am trying to get into it more and more which is why I frequent this board. I would hope that this isn't a place only for those who know all.

Well my attitude has unfortunately drifted to the "oh good when I woke up this morning we were in last in the Eastern Conference. Maybe soon something will change." mode. I hate this feeling. I have been a Bills fan, a Sabres fan and a ND football fan my entire life. I am only 26. I do remember some of the Super Bowl years even though I was young. Outside of that there has been much more bad than good. ND broke my heart at the end as we are all use to. Nothing would make me happier than change so I can again have "hope" for this team.

I couldn't agree more with this. There is nothing more frustrating that seeing him on the 4th line at times. The kid has made mistakes but he has also shows some flashes of what we hope he will become. Some of the passes he has made so far this year have been outstanding.

Let's hope we can start to right the ship tonight. Even with as bad as we have played we are 2 points out of 7th and 3 points out of 6th. (I am not accounting for tie breakers or extra games this early, just the simple math) There's still a little hope in me so I'm pulling for another good performance by Vanek and Miller and maybe a few other players will show up for a change as well.

Gotta love sitting down on a Friday night to watch the game after a long week. Yea Directv just didn't want us to have those 2 and a half hours of entertainment... Now I'm stuck watching Bubble Guppies with my daughter.

I was pleasently surprised hearing some of his calls on the radio this morning on my drive into work. I can't stand his work when it comes to the Bills. I thought he sounded great on the call yesterday however. I could defintely see him replacing RJ when that time comes.
