  1. I'm not sure it matters even if he is. You can't spend that kind of money on a goalie.
  2. Wouldn't that be something. Could we trade them someone old and slow?
  3. Now that's something I haven't done in many moons...
  4. Just barely. But the advantage to Guinness is it's not as carbonated so you don't feel as bloated when consuming it by the gallon...
  5. Guinness is the easiest beer to drink in the world. I once drank two pitchers on the night before Thanksgiving. Then went back after Thanksgiving dinner the next night and drank three. 4% and full of B vitamins. It's basically Gatorade.
  6. Word. Sometimes you just gotta have a couple crisp cold regular beers. I can't play disc golf on a hot summer day while swilling IPAs.
  7. I want to do a triple crown day. Start in Utica at FX Matt with a Utica Club for lunch, Genesee Brew Pub for dinner in Rochester, then Iroquois in Niagara Falls for dessert.
  8. This is probably the case. "it will be a light lager true to the post-Prohibition period when Iroquois was the largest brewery in Buffalo. It's going to be 4.3 percent alcohol, and will use flaked corn as an ingredient -- a nod to the "adjunct" grain brewing method typical of the post-Prohibition and pre-craft brewing era in America. (Craft brewers generally disdain grains like corn or rice, using barley malt instead)." http://www.syracuse.com/drinks/index.ssf/2018/01/iroquois_beer_returns_to_buffalo_craft_brewer_resurrects_iconic_brand.html *sips a cold Genny* excuse you.
  9. Danny Paille?
  10. I've never had a problem there. Back when the Sabres were a playoff team we used to go there for every game because of the beer specials. Also the Mountain Melt.
  11. I forgot it was only a NY chain. That actually makes my point even better. Clearly NY, especially upstate, is all about chicken fingers.
  12. Chicken fingers aren't just for kids. Tully's built a national chain based on that fact.
  13. They're the only team that I think is desperate enough for scoring to pay the price.
  14. Marshall Tucker - 24 Hours at a Time
  15. $9 for a 6 of bottles
  16. I will buy at Shiner Bock prices.
  17. If they price it like a craft beer I'm out. I'm in at $12 for a 12 of cans. I'll pay more than I pay for Genesee to support the local guy, but there's a limit. If it's just gonna be another craft beer for $10/6 pack then I ain't care atoll.
  18. I hope it's priced right.
  19. Thank God
  20. The ROR trade RE: faceoffs is an interesting discussion when you try to dissect the value of faceoffs. If you win faceoffs but can't do anything with the puck after you win them, the faceoff wins don't really matter much. I think it's been shown that faceoffs matter less than having players who can go get the puck, whether during the ensuing post-faceoff play or just in general. It would suck to lose O'Reilly's faceoff production, but if we can get players who are fast, can score, and can control the offensive zone more then I'll be fine with it.
  21. I'm fine with this as long as it's drenched in hot sauce and bleu cheese.
  22. That makes it worse. If he was under contract for another year then at least you have time to get production out of him. But a first for a rental with reservations is a lot.
