I would just use the salary from being forced to dump ROR to overpay some other center who is faster? It's a weird question.
-
Down the road, sure. I'm thinking about right now.
-
Oooo interesting. O'Reilly, purely for salary reasons.
-
There's no way anyone is paying for Reinhart what they would pay for O'Reilly. I like Reinhart, but if someone is offering me anywhere close to O'Reilly's return I'm taking that trade and laughing all the way home.
-
Depends though. ROR is easily worth more than Reinhart. So if someone is offering me the same deal for Reinhart that I would accept for O'Reilly, then I'm obviously trading Reinhart because someone has decided to massively overpay for him.

Jesus, I assumed it was some sicko fan. But a teammate's girlfriend? Yikes.

It's super fun you should try it sometime lol

Used to do that one in college all the time. We called it Bear Trappin' because we learned it from Sacred Heart University hockey legend Bear Trapp.

The thing with Kane is he's sloppy. Ovi appears to be a professional.

Thanks Freeman. For those interested, Parts Unknown is on Netflix until the 16th, so you've got a few days if you want to binge a bunch to see what this guy is all about. I guarantee you'll like it.

This is me in a nutshell. I don't listen to them much anymore because it was kinda like... baby's first metal. But every now and then I'll hear a good cut and be like "oh hell yeah this rocks." Caught For Whom the Bell Tolls on the radio the other day and there's nothing better than that soaring guitar riff. That song has some of Lars' best drum fills too.

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

I'm an adult who has many Legos. They're all in a box in storage right now because our apartment is too small to display them. I also have a bunch of old metal toy trucks that were already pretty vintage when I was playing with them as a kid. Toys are good! -

I think I saw that there were new episodes up. I love that series. -
When I was in school they told us we could pick German, Spanish or French. They said German was the hardest and Spanish was the easiest. I don't know where they got that ranking from because German is stupid easy. French makes no goddamn sense. Spanish is easy I guess?

Maybe they were both putting on the ultimate act through the end of the season? I wouldn't expect guys who don't like each other to interact how they do in public. Maybe Eichel doesn't dislike him personally, just from a "business is business" perspective? There could be more nuance here.

If Ovi is supposedly in better shape now then I don't want to know what out of shape Ovi looks like. Cuz those photos of him swimming in the fountain do not look like a guy who cut weight
-
The video was something a lot of people just didn't see because it was there and then gone so quickly. I think it was Bogo and Eichel, and Eichel was doing a mopey O'Reilly imitation. It fueled a bunch of fan speculation and close scrutiny of the interactions between ROR and Eichel, but ultimately looked like it was a nothingburger, just the boys goofing around.

Outstanding.

God bless that man

When I was in highschool a father of some fellow students shot his wife and then killed himself. In front of his two daughters. They were getting divorced and the wife had called the police to come confiscate his guns for safety reasons, but they didn't. And then... Suicide is such a tough thing to wrap ones mind around. The truth is that it's rarely a purely rational decision. Depression and anxiety do such weird things to the mind. I have to imagine sometimes it's like being in a mental fog, like a sleepwalking dream state, where you just do things and you're conscious but not there.
-
Clint Malarchuk's recounting of his suicide attempt in his book was one of the most raw and honest things I have ever read. It taught me a lot about the "why" of suicide. And it taught me not to judge those who attempt it or succeed at it.

Welp, this season is over before it started. Way to go.
