Left versus right is ruining democracy

I dunno man, people inherently form up into groups based on ideology. It feel like it would be really tough to not have political parties. -

I've long felt that coalition style parliamentary government could be a better option, but I always stop just short because I wonder if it would be too volatile for such a large and diverse country like ours? I feel like the two party system, by design, tends to temper short-term whims and provides a more stable government. I don't know. Just thoughts I've had on the subject. I would be in favor of a system where people felt better represented and were more likely to vote because of it. -
This squad has turned over quite a bit. It's going to take a while for them to figure things out. I think we could easily go 1-4 with the first win coming against the Yotes.

That's what they already have.

I see Ullmark as being the Biron comparable and someone like UPL being closer to the Miller mold.

Only the best and brightest at PSE. They definitely aren't just hiring their mediocre friends. Nope, no way.

He loves the game and he loves Buffalo. I hope a year in Rochester goes well for him.

They interviewed Marty about it a while back. Apparently he was fully aware that he was gonna get his butt kicked but went for it anyway. -

You need a timeout. -
Sorry to hear of your community's loss. Interesting info. Burial customs are certainly different across various cultures. I think we tend to get a little crazy here in the Christian world. What you do seems more my speed.

Jesus. That's awful. -
The fun part about this is that Josie's father, born in the 40s, is super into this kinda stuff. He has old gramophones and used to have a ton of 78s. So he's blowing up my phone last night telling me everything I need to do to make sure I don't break anything trying to play them. He, of course, remembers some of these artists from when he was a kid.

So I was out thrifting today and hit a pretty cool score in Lancaster at Amvets. First off, I did not buy the two accordions they had for sale. I would have liked to, but no, I resisted. For those who might be interested, the working one was a black Frontalini for $200. What I scored today though was a box of old 78s. I haggled them to give me the whole box for $6. Artists include Hal Kemp, Harry James, Horace Heidt, Kay Kyser, The Sportsmen, Roger Williams, The Mariners, Reinald Werrenrath, Eddy Duchin, a broken Perry Como, The Merry Macs, Anton Karas performing a Zither solo from an Orson Welles film called The Third Man, Woody Herman, John McCormack. Lots of the first three guys. I had no idea if they were in playable shape or not, I've never bought used 78s. I tested a few out on my turntable and they sound pretty good. Ordered a replacement stylus for my cartridge tonight that will play the 78s better. The prize of the collection seems to be the single sided John McCormack, a 1920 pressing of Your Eyes Have Told Me So. Not bad. I could really see myself getting in to 78s. There's a lot of music out there that I don't know from the 78 era.

Your skepticism with respect to female accusers always seems to be a little too eager.

I also thought it happened already.

I bet brain damage contributes as well. These guys have been playing through the worst concussions pretty much their whole lives. Nothing destroys the brain like football.

That seems like a bad idea.

A full season for me is 70+ games. Most goalies don't play a full season...
