I see what happened. I meant three more wins before today, after the Sabres started their playoff push. I don't think even six more wins to end the season does the trick.

You are the most wonderful and insightful poster. One day I want to be as sharp a hockey commentator as Pimlach. No one rocks a SabreSpace post or a beaver hat as hard as Pimlach.

I've studied various forecasts and read NWS discussion pages from State College, Erie and Buffalo. The cloud forecast is literally all over the map. Instead of converging, outlooks seem to be diverging.

I mean... All props to Thorny. I used some of the good will capital between us to rake him over the coals for offering playoff hope a while back. And the Sabres are STILL not out of it. Thornstradamus was spot on about the teams ahead of us. All that was missing was the Sabres getting hot. Actually in retrospect they didn't even have to get hot, just a touch feverish. Three more wins and they'd really be in this thing. Thorny help me out. What record did you think the Sabres would need and what has their actual record been?

Maybe not enough info... Who is building this team is critical. Who is the owner? What's the budget? What's the mandate? In an ideal world (real GM or POHO, real owner who wants to win ASAP, spending not an issue) my answer is a slam dunk. And no I would not miss Dahlin a'tall.

Monday's turning into one of those huge moments in Buffalo sports. Win the next to last game on Sunday. The biggie on Monday? Not so much.

He's gonna score 30. I don't see why his agent wouldn't be lined up at KA's trough. How do you justify long term deals for players who did virtually nothing at the NHL level then bridge Peterka?

The Sabres have served their purpose for Terry. The end game is either he sells or, if there's there some nefarious plot by the league, continues to deliberately wreck it to do the NHL's dirty work.

Criticism should only increase with each win. And the bigger the win the more they should be booed. These ***** should need a police escort away from the arena if they win every remaining game.

Don't you see how they want to be people influencers? This far out they shouldn't be massaging the forecast to make it sound like if there are showers it will be two hours after the eclipse. I imagine that pressure comes externally to not discourage all those tourists from coming to Buffalo. Tom Jolls, I see you.
