  1. I love that guy.
  2. All I see is snow.
  3. So close. Take a right at the next light. I'm just sizzurping.
  4. This is harder than I expected.
  5. Eleven would absolutely destroy Ras in an alley fight. Name a Ras, any Ras. Except Risto of course.
  6. Inexplicably, Dom answers the phone at a British pub and is punked by famous prankster Tiny Tim. 2:46
  7. Since some of the following have been treated like human piñatas by this board, yours truly included, over the broadcast, previous ceremonies, game presentation, etc., it's only fair to give them some limelight, and their own thread. Great reporting by Alan Pergament of the News: "It is time to throw a little credit around for those involved in a top shelf production put together by people who work for the Sabres and Pegula Sports and Entertainment and deserve an Emmy Award. The video piece about what Jeanneret has meant to the Sabres and their fans narrated by Danny Gare, the former Sabres star and broadcaster, was written by Michelle Girardi-Zumwalt. It featured former Sabres, broadcasters and fans talking about Jeanneret’s appeal and concluded with Gare saying this memorable line about RJ. “Your name will hang in the rafters, but your voice will echo forever.” Drew Boeing and Kelsey Barrick wrote the flow of the overall ceremony. Chrisanne Bellas worked closely on the ceremony and the timing. Scott Balzer shot most of the video footage that was edited by Andy Quinn. Rich Jureller coordinated with most of the alumni. Jourdon LaBarber wrote several parts of the ceremony script. The cinematographers were Nina Lindberg and Marc Davies."
  8. The Robert goal is from the 73 playoffs.
  9. Oh I see. So having some fun with the word shindig and the slogan of a brand name moisturizer is all it took to be accused of reneging on my promise to not criticize the Pegulas?! Wow! Double wow!
  10. Which one is that? Is it a wagon of sobriety?
  11. There will be digging at shins in clamdiggers I would assume. Damned air is still dry. Let the healing begin my ass.
  12. Go, with a gizmo of some kind to listen to his last broadcast (can always close my eyes and pretend it's radio), would hate to miss any more moments like on Friday night, but not sure if the Sabres have anything planned, hard to believe the crowd won't come up with something Stay, and listen old-school (actually on the radio or just listening to TV, or watch the game as per usual) I probably just worked through my dilemma. You can listen to Rick anywhere. Might as well go. Hello Ticketmaster. Goodbye money!

  13. And this one, a brilliant impression actually.
  14. Not sure if Rick's official account. I highly doubt he would repost it.
  15. Always loooved this one.
  16. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/sabres/capaccio-rjs-calls-will-always-be-a-part-of-us Maybe this thread could become the written tribute version of the video thread.
  17. I have a bad habit of analyzing things that should merely be enjoyed on the face of it. No duh that's SS. But I'd lay even money Rick adlibbed the final three words based on the shouts. It would apropros, no? He punctuated the moment with just the right words. He's had some practice.
  18. That captured it. I sounded pretty much the same. Back to puberty back to where Jimmy... Rick's I Love You worked so well bc so many people were shouting I Love You. As per usual he nailed it.
  19. I'd loooove to hear that. It needs to be put online. That's uncharted territory for almost everyone. I really hope in retirement that Cupcake and Rick put his lost calls out there. I think it was reported a while back that she's recorded virtually every game going way back.
  20. He sure is. Must Whip I think you have it backwards. Hoppe is even better for this. And Hammy. And even my man Harrington. They are not interested in customer engagement.
