Expecting he'll get legit playing time this year but will still be about 5th on the depth chart. Also expecting 1, if not 2, of Sanders, McKenzie, & Beasley won't be back. Know it's not a popular choice, but hoping they get a DT that can stuff the run & tie up 2 blockers in the 1st. It'll free up Rousseau & whomever lines up opposite him & will let Oliver go to another level too. 2nd round, an MLB. Those 2 pieces will improve the CB's & Milano & Edmonds too. Hopefully the O-line can get upgraded via FA & not necessarily w/ expensive guys.

Can't find anything indicating that Dell will be allowed to serve his suspension in the minors. So, not positive that's the case. Remember, Connolly got a 4 game suspension at the end of the '02-'03 season then missed the entire '03-'04 season due to a concussion in the preseason & had to finish serving the suspension after the lockout finally ended. So, Dell's NHL career could be done if he still has to serve 2 games of a suspension before he can dress in the NHL (and he likely does still have to serve the euspension).

Interesting thought. Especially if they could have somebody younger in mind to be teamed w/ UPL for next season.

Have been saying Tuch & Cozens have chemistry since the 1st game they played together. And Krebs absolutely has chemistry w/ Tuch & seems to have it w/ Mittelstadt too. Would have either of those C's w/ Tuch & Krebs before putting Thompson & Skinner w/ Tuch, but it's not our call. If they're ever healthy (& not injured) would have Tage between Asplund &`Olofsson. Those guys had chemistry too.

Probably the local emergency goalie.

Yeah, pending the COVID protocol roster moves, don't believe they could have both Anderson & Tokarski activated w/out sending Dell bacweekend. Pretty sure he'll be able to serve his last 2 games in the A. Robson came THIS close to getting NHL action this weekend.

They're gonna lose to the friggin' Yotes. 😡

Expect there's more value to be had for a team like the Sabres to collect the vig from laundering other team's trades that don't quite work w/out some adjustments than from selling their own soon to be UFA's. Miller, if he's healthy, and Hinestroza are the only 2 potential good rentals. Maybe somebody will desperately want a backup faceof specialist or Caggiula, but not expecting much for either.

Except for that Charlotte game right when the Sabres got Subban, he's played very well. (Guess there was 1 other not so good game too. Didn't see that one.) Wondering if his mind was thinking about how that was likely going to be his last game as Dell was soon to come back down & the emotion of the situation just caused everything to snowball. -

Per Duff, Amerks 1st win this season scoring fewer than 4 goals. And it took the gift puck over the glass call to get the chance for the winner. -

They score w/ 6.4 on the clock. MacInnes from the slot & it trickles through. The PP was AWFUL the 1st 100 seconds. 2-1 W for the good guys. -

And the Amerks get a freebie PP w/ 2:01 to go. Let's see what they can do w/ it. -

Interestingly, Peterka getting some PK time. -
The guy that tweeted about the Jints wanting Dorsey later tweeted that the Bills are tryingnto get him to stay. Right now, would say no news is good news.

If he keeps skating like his hair's on fire, he'll be entertaining next season. But he still needs to be better overall in his own end. Could see him starting out next year in the A to work further on that part of his game. And just now saw how poorly Laaksonen played the Crunch goal to open the scoring. He really has a ways to go to get to the show. -
Not happy seeing Jiricek in the top 4 or 5 in a lot of these newer lists. Don't these people know when a guy gets injured he's supposed to drop, not rise? (Really think he's the guy this kid would like to see 'em get if they don't have one of the 2 lottery wins.)

With all the great chances the Amerks had, Mersch ties it at 1 on a poor angle shot off the goalie's stick. Peterka had shot wide on a breakaway. Weisback did likewise on 4v4 & then Peterka hit a post on a 2v2 rush as the 4v4 expired all to no avail. Then Mersch throws junk to the net that strikes gold.
