I like that O'Leary is a 4 year NCAA player on a linear progression, battling for each step with success, vs high picks like Girgensons and Larsson who are maybe bigger/faster/stronger but not necessarily more effective on an NHL team.

The fight at the end of game? Meh. Amerks had a total of 11 shots in first 2 periods. I thought we had better chances and finished, but agree, in 3rd we got smoked. The gtg was Nylander turnover but Tennyson was too deep and seemed to wtf wave the pass instead of selling out to correct. Not cool. I really like Blackwell's game. He's probably too small or whatever for NHL but dude comes to play and as a fan it's enjoyable to watch.

It's a new website/initiative attempting to educate property owners on assessments, etc. Looks like he's considering pulling together a class action as well. Love the spirit, but not so sure this applies to anyone but the 1% owning super high value property. For the rest of us, if my whole street complains and gets an adjustment it's just going to raise the rate town-wide. Maybe he's already thought of that, and he's counting on the 2% cap to squeeze things, but we love our public schools here NY. Cities excluded (sadly), they are world class in my opinion.
