  1. I ain't gonna lie. The straight parroting of Republican talking points is highly disappointing. "Unprecedented" could be title of the biography of this administration and the subsequent actions of the Republican party.
  2. What a bizarre take. So, basically... I'm so innocent and I have so much exculpatory evidence that I'm going to force you to go to court for months to prove how innocent I am.... I'll show you how perfect that phone call was - as soon as you take this to the Supreme Court - you bet your bippy I'll prove how perfect it was!
  3. Just. Awful. Or maybe we all just give a young HC and GM a ***** moment to gather themselves as they start their new careers and not expect perfect decisions from day one. Jesus, you are comparing Sean’s first couple months on the job to Andy Reid. That’s patently ridiculous.
  4. I imagine the emphasis on turnovers was huge. The Steelers aren’t just a run of the mill defensive unit. That unit wins games for them. Despite the fact that I think CC is a knucklehead, the point about beating yourself was true and despite their clear efforts to avoid doing just that - they still almost did it.
  5. Seriously? Our first double digit wind total in 20 years… Two playoff appearances in three years, where we had none the previous 17… You have problems with the organization? FFS
  6. In general, I think fans need to lay off the offense. The talent level just isn’t there yet and they’re doing their best to make chicken salad. I mean, why get mad at people who are mostly incapable of doing great things when they don’t do them? It is going to take a bit to get the talent level up to par. $90M in cap next year should help, if anyone worthwhile makes it to free agency.
  7. Especially given how many different positions there are in football.
  8. Doing another Post Malone show with daughter. College son wanted an electric skateboard to get around campus. If that gets him outside, then I’m all for it. Lol
  9. Ha. Stupid speech to text.
  10. So, I try to emphasize experiences over things. Tickets, a trip, lessons, etc... or a gift that facilitates experiences.
  11. I think a lot of fans had a hard time being patient enough to see what Jack would develop into. He certainly didn’t have the polished talent of McDavid right out of the gate. Personally, I find it much less stressing to just watch the game and let these kids grow into whomever they’re going to be.
  12. It was an amazing weekend filled with Triumph history and memorabilia (hosted at the Metal Works). Pictures with the band, a performance and then an after party with Gil Moore where he talked to fans for 5 hours. I spent 45 minutes with him. Then the next day, those who stuck around to go on a third party bus tour were hoodwinked into stopping for coffee where the band was in back of the coffee shop and we got to hang out with them for another two hours in a much smaller group. That’s where my picture came from. I sat and listened and told stories to Mike Levine for quite awhile. Then finished the night with Gil spending more time with us at dinner. When we filed out for our final goodbyes he was sobbing and hugging everyone like we were sons going off to war. Grown men crying everywhere. Lol it was ***** intense. So emotionally draining. Many of the people I met agreed that it was extremely difficult to process everything that happened to us that weekend.
  13. Playing the devils twice certainly helped.
  14. I won’t derail the post game - I’ve been meaning to post this in the music thread… But a couple weeks ago I went to Mississauga to participate in a Triumph documentary. People applied to be one of 150 fans to be a part of it and it was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done in my life… it was ***** amazing. I got to see them play 3 songs for the film. Front row with Rik Emmett about 6 ft away from me.
  15. Dude. Are you a fan?
  16. I'm not gonna lie - the whole 50-year uniform is incredible. Sharpest team in the league with that kit.
  17. Is this a Lehner reference?
  18. I guess those are t-shirts they put over the top?
  19. According to GR... The Caps have beaten the Bruins 16 out of the last 17 times. ?
  20. BS in Optics 91, MS in Optics 93. University of Rochester Institute of Optics.
  21. I'm aware - optics is what I do. "It goes" was my overly lazy way of pointing out the relationship. I left out "inverse" for brevity.
  22. It has to do with the wavelength dependence of light scattering off particles in the air. It goes as x^4, where x=wavelength.
  23. True was 8th in scoring... I'm not weeping for him. It's remarkable that 8 teams were +/- 1 game from either other.
  24. 2nd highest scoring team... 5th in the standings. Booooo.....
  25. You are not good at this. You just tried to tell me that losing on the last play of the game is better than effectively “losing” earlier, but with still a chance to win. You literally had victory in your hands. You had the two correct choices to chose from. Certain defeat or a most likely defeat with a small chance of victory. And you chose certain defeat. God bless the internet.
