We get it every Friday.
-
I get once a year. I probably do that myself once every couple years when I’m at family stuff. I couldn’t imagine eating that every Friday though.
-
This picture is super appropriate. Thanks!

If I wanna plate of thick greasy cheese I don’t need to buy a pizza to get that. Pizza does not have to be a food that you hate yourself for eating.

So John Candy filmed a movie somewhere in the Batavia area back in the late 80s. Somehow my mother got roped in to some after party. I don’t remember if it was related to Batavia Downs or not. Regardless, Pontillo’s closed the restaurant down and John Candy made pizzas for everyone in attendance.

I haven’t read everyone’s response, but I will be the dissenter. There’s too much friggin cheese on Buffalo pizza. I don’t have an issue with anything else that is done, but that massive amount of heart attack inducing cheese just isn’t healthy for anyone to be eating regularly. You can make a great tasting pizza without resorting to that. I love a properly made margarita pizza which is the exact opposite of that. It’s a simple crust topped with San Marzano tomatoes and dollops of buffalo mozzarella, not an oppressive sheet drenched in grease and oil.

Why would you need three votes when you only need to vote for raisinets? -
Who doubted anyone? I literally said the opposite. I can even provide a link.
-
That persuaded you and me. Those who are left unpersuaded need a different approach. The "we" people are vaccinated. The "me" people need something different.
-
Persuasion is about persuading the unconvinced, not convincing those who have already have been convinced.

Thanks. and BTW, I am not doubting his claims, but my reading of the number was comically low for the words spoken by the lawyer.
-
Exactly.
-
I don’t know what you were trying to say, but I’m trying to say is that the claim doesn’t match the amount asked for unless you think your life is essentially worthless.

Life has been destroyed. Asks for $150,000. LOL

Let me throw out a different perspective… A 24 year old kid, billed to be a generational hockey phenom, is willing to undergo surgery that everyone who gets it utterly dreads. He is scared. His entire future rides on this. Those herniated disks impinge upon the spinal cord. He’s mired in a losing organization with a body that routinely gives out on him. His entire future is a greased pig right now and he doesn’t know how to hang on. Please don’t consider this surgery like he wants to get his knee scoped or a ligament strengthened. He wants to see if he can be the first NHL player to play with an artificial disc that hopefully won’t move and damage his spinal cord. And they can move. If the disk’s teeth don’t bury into the bone it can slip. This surgery carries significant risk for an office manager of not being entirely successful. I can’t imagine what the risks are for a world-class athlete. Bear with him if he isn’t handling things the way you think they should be handled.

Healthy Eichel is vastly different than injured Eichel. I think fans don’t understand the potential ramifications of his neck. If he’s looking for ADR surgery - it’s bad. I never wanted to trade him before I knew more about the injury. Now I think it should be someone else’s risk. -

I have written the same exact sentiments many times in my life. -

If I can be cynical… after decades of professionally watching fan bases - the fans are never happy in the moment. They can become happy a decade or two after the moment has passed. Only a Stanley cup makes people happy in the moment. but yes, I would agree that more people were satisfied at the prospect of a world class player finally taking the ice for the team was a hopeful spot to cling to. -

It doesn’t have to be a shot at Jack. It could be that he just may fit the description.
