  1. The only saving grace is that he didn’t let in all three. That shoot out was inevitable.
  2. I’m sure his announcer chair is awfully sandy.
  3. Go back a month and think of that image of him gliding backwards in a tripod as the other team scores.
  4. Posted in the wrong thread earlier, I just wanted to say that Bryson falls down an awful lot.
  5. I said that to myself when I posted that, but didnt go back to edit. If this is his play for the rest of the season he can kiss any thought of being a Boston Bruin in the future goodbye. He should be higher than a kite right now and his mistakes are cringy.
  6. He’s been a plus player his entire Sabres career
  7. I would say the exchange players haven’t done much except for Hall giving it up in his own zone.
  8. There is zero movement on this power-play.
  9. Rebound control is the difference between these two keepers.
  10. I don’t think there’s any animosity between players on the ice regarding the trade details. I have no idea what his teammates thought of him as a player. Maybe someone wants to smash his brains in for being an unproductive pretty boy. But his fellow players certainly aren’t mad at him for exercising his negotiated contractual rights.
  11. Interesting. 😉
  12. I’m too lazy to look back at the reason given, but someone said something to the effect of the Pegulas think they could run an NHL team with a skeleton crew the same as any other team. I don’t believe that’s the case. I think they were trying to save money and just hoped for the best and get through this current season. I think everything will be stepped back up to normal levels in short order.
  13. It depends how you think your team should be built. What is harder to do in the NHL? Is it harder to score a goal or to hit another player? What is easier to acquire? Players that score goals and have chemistry or players that can hit people? Tampa found offense first and added physicality later. Toronto is looking to do the same. I think it is the better way to build in 2021.
  14. It could very well be that there are players on the team that just didn’t like Taylor Hall’s game and have resentment towards that. I just don’t think this trade moves the needle for anyone putting on skates.
  15. That scenario is all premeditated and the fact that Risto would be feeling that extra emotion. I’m guessing as a fellow player, he’s not upset one iota that Taylor Hall did what’s best for himself after the Sabres agreed to give him that option.
  16. Take a run at players? Are we playing parody hockey? The reason why no one‘s going to take a run at Taylor Hall is because we don’t have the “right” players? It’s not because there’s actually nothing to see here and the Sabres and Taylor Hall abided by the spirit of the agreement they both agreed upon?
  17. As I said, whatever the fans are feeling I don’t believe for one minute former teammates carry the same sentiment. If he gets hit by a former teammate it’s going to be because it was the right decision at the time and not because they’re mad about something.
