Do the Sabres have the worst goaltending in the Eastern Conference?

It’s going to be an interesting camp. There are so many different approaches to take in constructing the lines. What is apparent in this Roslovic discussion is that by bringing in another second/third line player it offers a lot more options when putting together lines. KA needs to bring in another forward before camp begins.
-
not positive. But guarantee we can find a spot for him. Maybe something like: Benson Kulich Thompson Doan Norris Tuch Zucker McLeod Roslovic Quinn Krebs Greenway Malenstyn Danforth (only carrying 7 D to start, waiting for the inevitable injury to Norris or Greenway)
-
No offense, but these sort of stats comparing a D man to a forward are totally meaningless. The meaningful stat next season will be does Power get more points playing with Kesselring and do the two of them prevent more goals as well. You seriously have Doan in a top 6 role? I must be missing something on him. He's not his dad you know. How is he anything more than a bottom 6 guy?
-
If acquired, let him compete in camp and determine whatever role he earns.

Where do you play Roslovic?
- Today

IF true, wtf is he not a Sabre at this very moment?

The offseason so far - Are the Sabres better?

This looks like change for change's sake. They won't be harder to play against because the are coached to be soft and most of the changes don't accomplish that goal. The guys who were moved (like EJ, KO, Clifton, and Z) were supposed to be hard to play against. They weren't and aren't. Malenstyn was supposed to improve the toughness of the team and it's hard to accomplish that goal on sitting on the bench or in the pressbox. Truthfully we were closer to the playoffs (42 wins, 91 pts and 293 goals scored) with Skinner, VO, Mitts, Joki, Z, KO, Cozens, and JJP, than we are right now. Those guys helped get us to a hair's breath from the playoffs 3 years ago despite a horrific defense than the changes Adams has wrought the last 2 off-season and deadlines. -
The database is only as good as the integrity of the data.

What part of historical ineptitude don’t people get? That’s the friggen oxymoron irony here, you say I endlessly belabour the Adams point and yet it NEVER HAS TAKEN HOLD yet lmao He is *historically* bad. i’m not using the words for emphasis. It’s embarrassing. We are catastrophically, unusually bad and when I say dudacek would make a better GM that’s not snark it’s a notion I hope gains traction If I had a nickel

Not with Wilford here and not with the least experienced team in the league. -
How is it nonsense? Tone can be hard in writing but you frequently off the mark by a mile with me: it could be me - I don’t know. But that doesn’t mean it’s not off the mark I meant it literally. If Adams was actually building by the principles dudacek is outlining we’d be a playoff team i don’t think enough give credence to the idea that there can be viable reasons for something to work without those things ever having been the focal point, or even potentially something they were necessarily aware of and how is that a nonsense point? If they aren’t actually making the decisions FOR the right reasons what chance do we think they have of replication?? if Adams had the eye dudacek has, we wouldn’t be seeing such a lack of the types of moves dudacek outlined the benefits of

The only thing I can come up with is that my brother had an infiniti and my wife had a nissan. They're the same company. For whatever reason infiniti didn't have his address, so they looked up shrader in the database and pulled my address. If that's the case, that's really dumb. There's going to be a ton of name overlap out there for the Smiths of the world.

No, I don’t think so. I think these are reasonable and workable conclusions you draw by analyzing the players, because you have an apt and more importantly eager hockey mind. They aren’t looking at it in this way, not that deeply. jj wasn’t being moved until he asked to - it wasn’t a plan, they didn’t have a plan, here. They will count on Sammy because they counted on him years ago to the tune of a huge deal when he hadn’t even established as an NHLer yet. The dye was cast long long ago you know that! “Will Sammy be better cause JJ no longer…” yadda yadda - no. Im not saying that dismissively but factually (at least in terms of what I actually think is happening). They aren’t thinking that deep lol. They already loved Sammy. They’ll count on Sammy because Adams has tied his wagon to Sammy. He formulated that plan after JJ asked out? Or, he knew of it before hand but just wasn’t going to do anything about it? Doesn’t make sense. The calculation was that Adams liked Kesselring - we do know that from reputable in the knows. Once it became apparent JJ had to be his big (and only) trade chip, he used him to get Kesselring. Doan is simply bPA on someone’s list - and it’s not a list that was put together with team building consideration you’ll find a way to make it make sense because you should be the GM If Adams was actually using similar team building considerations we’d have made the playoffs, but then Adams couldn’t have been Adams, at all - - - Adams is ridiculously one track minded his “thing” this summer was rhd we even saw it at the draft. He’s a complete imbecile (general manager wise) - it’s not just something we say
