DeBoer is either gone or Jake O is. What a turd. ...I'd take either š

Oh boy, if Edm loses TWO Stanley Cup Finals in a row š I'll NEVER forgive their D bag HC for the shade he threw at the Bills during last year's cup finals May they lose 4 straight!!!!

Is it implying Power and Muel are unhappy with the direction of the team? Thats what I took it as. Which discredits this nonsense immediately. Those are the last 2 guys that should be unhappy about anything because theyāre the main reason we arenāt reaching our ceiling. Owen Power. Iāve said this 1000x. Thatās the pick thatās setting us back right now. Heās got a good shot and some time to figure it out. But man. I watch these D men in the playoffs and Power plays NOTHING like these guys. If Muckler or heck even Darcy were running this team a hockey trade involving Power would have already happened. Like trading Mike Wilson for Rhett Warrener. That trade put the late 90s Sabres over the top. Well, as close as you can get.

Sabres looking for Senior Advisor for Adams and Hockey Department

This is a giant nothing burger. -
What do they want for him:
-
Personally I would add a goalie. One of the free agents (not Georgiev) or trade for somebody like Korpisalo. I know people will say he's crap or the FAs are crap and it doesn't matter. We need a veteran to take half the load and Levi has to bump a goalie out of a spot by playing well enough, not just be handed a spot.

GMKA: "Three firsts for Clifton". Inquiring GM: "Are you out of your damn mind?!" GMKA: "Do you want to win the cup this year or not?!"

In 2021 the Panthers and Oilers both lost in round one. Since then, they have been the best playoff teams in the NHL. The Panthers have won 11 of 13 playoff series, going 45-27. The Oilers have won 9 of 12 playoff series, going 41-28. I don't think there is a lot to choose between the two teams. Both play excellent D. The Panthers maybe have a truculence edge, but the Oilers are not short in that area (Perry, Kane, Frederic, Nurse). The stars on these teams won't be intimidated. Bobrovsky probably gives the Panthers the edge in goal. And then there is McDavid. Should be great.
-
The loss of Hyman does hurt Edmonton but that will now result in more playing time for Perry and Skinner. Iād make the Panthers a slight favorite but now the Oilers have the experience and know what itāll take to beat Florida and win it all. I wouldnāt bet money on this final either way. Gonna be tight and could go either way.

If the Sabres were to trade all four to⦠Vancouver, letās say⦠and then Vancouver won the Cup riding UPL⦠Iām out. Iām dropping hockey at that point.
-
Who will it be next year. UPL? Quinn? JJP? Byram? All of the above? š¤£
-
Edmonton wins the conference finals on the road. Impressive.

Rantanen went from a hero to a dud quickly
-
Jeff skinner to the cup hello crap
-
6-3 game one win with Boushh playing. 0-3 since.
-
The Oilers saw that and then decided to play Jeff Skinner to 2X the Sabre factor in their favor.

Seems to lack commitment. -
This is what Dallas gets for benching Lybushkin. The ex Sabre bump is gone.

I read a story about Zitoās leadership style. He said he has surrounded himself with some smart hockey people who will challenge him. He wants a diversity of ideas and will hear them out before making a decision. The people he mentions as advisors are Rick Dudley, Paul Fenton, Roberto Luongo, Gregory Campbell, Les Jackson and a few others. -
Just So talented that McDavid eh?
-
McDavid wasnāt even floating defensively looking for an easy outlet. Heās just faster to pivot and take off than anyone else.
-
And McJesus just puts a dagger in their heart. Even before that goal I was thinking the Stars are having to expend SO much energy just to make up the two goal deficit. Against a team like the Oilers that makes you very susceptible to odd man rushes against. And here we are.
