  1. Past hour
  2. McDaniels offenses are all flash and no fundamentals. McDermott's defenses are so fundamental they're boring. But the fundamentals win out every time.
  3. The boring fundamentals of McDermott will be McDaniels' razzle-dazzle every time* *that half the Bills don't get heatstroke on the sideline.
  4. Such a great trash talker. Only if Miami loses 45-6. I predict the Bills will win 45-6
  5. Today
  6. Before or after Dahlin asks for a trade?
  7. Maybe he did? Although it's correct he can't play until Dec. I really doubt he'd come to Buffalo. He has said he wants a fresh start and he wants a U.S. city but he'd take Edmonton over Buffalo and we already know Edmonton will take players with past issues.
  8. Yesterday
  9. I think he plays passive, defensively, because he's not naturally aggressive and 22. IMHO, he shows much more confidence skating with the puck and offensively. My guess is he'll be worth the wait. I think turning 23, growing more into that big frame, maybe even getting married, a player can learn to take less crap. I don't think we're talking about someone that's terrible, we're talking about someone we hope realizes his potential.
  10. This is stuff people put on their social media accounts. Then add in platforms like LinkedIn which don't even get me started on that. My point is people put a lot of information about themselves on the internet that doesn't need to be there. For example, why would anyone put their current city and birthday on FB? And of course, as you mentioned apps like Been Verified and others that are a one stop shop. In total you have people posting crazy stuff on FB then wonder how they get in trouble when they feel the need to post their entire life on multiple platforms. My advice would be not to post every waking moment as a picture, remove the metadata before posting it, remove things like where you currently and formerly lived, and remove who you currently and previously worked for. It's not to enable these whacked out posts. Its cyber hygiene. Disable ports 22, 23, and 3389 on your home computer, disable guest accounts on your PC, only have one admin account, and don't allow visitors to connect to your router, even family. If that weird uncle has a virus or worm on his iPhone and connects to your router you better hope that free antivirus software contains it. Ok I went on a tangent there.
  11. James Cook contract dance part deux
  12. IMHO he plays passive hockey because, in part, he's not naturally tough.
  13. Toughness isn't the issue, pace is. He plays passive hockey.
  14. Adams - delusional They needed to move on this off-season.
  15. Do you use beenverified or something different?
  16. More focused camp this year with less distractions, that's good Lindy and staff know players better, that's good They really want to be better defensively and tougher to play against, let's hope Big focus of team chemistry, we'll see.
  17. A big jump in toughness? I just don't think it's in his DNA. If it were, wouldn't we have seen at least glimpses of it by now?
  18. They have a 1OA, 1OA, 4OA, and they're most excited about Kesselring... a 5th round pick who was a 3rd pairing guy in Utah -- who played up in the lineup last year because of his team's injuries. But Kesselring spent the bulk of his time with Ian Cole, Sergachev, and Olli Maata -- three guys whose play in their own zone would place them #2 behind Dahlin on the Sabres blue line. Now, Kesselring has to elevate and cover for his partner, rather than the be the guy who is free to just play. (Unless he's paired with Dahlin.) It's an opportunity for Kesselring, for certain. But it's also very much a big pipe of hopium.
  19. Lindy keeps talking about what a great off season the players had. Hopefully they are a stronger more mature team and we don't see those late game collapses, as we shouldn't
  20. That makes more sense then. Thanks.
  21. Greenway week-to-week..., eh? This lineup looks less likely for opening day.
  22. There is so much cap space available next summer. Every UFA should take it to 7/1/2026. It's silly cap space, because teams didn't use it this year. A team could sign McDavid and Tuch. And their competitor could sign Eichel and Kaprizov. Sign with the Sabres for $9M this year... or $11M next summer. Or... and here's the fun part... go get join a winning franchise instead. (And I know they'll all just re-sign with their current team for less than they should.)
  23. If Power can't pull it together, the Sabres need to consider moving on next June.
