  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks. My questions are more basic, I guess. Who or what Pegula interest owned or is selling the Nighthawks? Who’s Pete’s “we?”
  3. Today
  4. They have always intended on selling the Nighthawks; it was part of the stipulations with the league when PSE wanted to keep a team in Rochester after the original team moved. They have been looking to sell or at minimum bring on a new majority owner for the past 3 years. As for BCA it’s a rather old arena that needs continuous maintenance and unlikely brings in much money if any. Without Kim, Terry doesn’t have the same interest in Kim’s PSE baby. Not to mention he’ll soon own a new Bills stadium and potentially have to purchase the Key Bank Center. There are plenty of things to target Pegula for but this isn’t anything special or mischievous
  5. I read that on twitter. It included minor moves, signing people and coaches etc. I suppose you could say hiring Jarmo was doing something if you want to get technical.
  6. All futures all the time. Never win now. Peterka + nothing extra to Chicago for 2025 3OA, RHD Rinzel, and the unprotected 2026 CHI 1st. Be silly. If they want JJP, they can give him a four-1st offer sheet or they trade only three assets. Sheevyn has never intentionally tanked, but now is his chance. You only get... from 6 to 18 years to be an NHL GM your first time around. Have fun with it.
  7. I know, I was listing the ones I knew about and wondering what the other 20 odd teams had done.
  8. I'd prefer a true RHD.
  9. PSE was disposed and Pegulas camp said "don't worry without out Kim, we just don't have the bandwidth to keep all this under one roof. We're not going anywhere" Then Pegula renegotiated the BCA lease agreement in Rochester and his camp said "Don't worry, this is standard business procedure. It's just a new deal because PSE is gone. We're not going anywhere" Later Pegula actually pulled out of the management portion of his BCA agreement and said "Don't worry. We just don't want to manage arenas anymore. But were totally staying put" Now he sold the Nighthawks, which was mentioned numerous times in all the above as being safe from being for sale.
  10. Philly traded for Zegras Dallas resigned Duchene and traded Marchment Anaheim traded Zegras and traded for Kreider Seattle traded for Marchment Rangers traded Kreider
  11. Nah, Zito’s smart enough to maximize the asset.
  12. Umm, Zito?
  13. Trading Peterka for 3 and 3 for Dobson makes some sense to me. The Isles would get Hagens and Schaefer, which would be a home run for the fan base. Not sure what you mean by “only 2 teams”. Philly, Dallas, Anaheim, Rangers, Winnipeg, Seattle…what have I missed?
  14. Damn wow haha. Yeah my (relative) youth is showing.
  15. I think other GMs might have hung on to Zegras a little more tightly. I can’t think of another GM more likely to be annoyed by him than Verbeek.
  16. Yep, always best to see how the whole think plays out. Two players the Sabres could use have moved for prices the Sabres could afford: If when the dust settles we’ve improved more than Marchment and Zegras for Krebs, good.
  17. If they offer the 3rd for Peterka you take it and then you flip that 3rd for Dobson or somebody we need. Flip the 3rd and the 9th if needed. Can't see nobody wanting that 3rd pick which could be a Frondell or Misa. Or keep the pick and flip Norris. other options. We have so many young assets this can't be that hard. There are only 2 teams at this point who have done absolutely nothing and that's us and the Leafs. It's ridiculous.
  18. Doubt it. Zegras had issues. Declining production, injuries, doesn't play defense. I think a lot of teams weren't interested. Philly willing to gamble since they have the assets to trade without affecting anything else. Michkov-Zegras-Konecny as a line could be sick, but probably have a lot of goals scored against them too. Might be entertaining though. Maybe they'll Michigan pass for a double Michigan.
  19. Also true!
  20. In order to get a verdict on the matter, the court will allow this indiscretion.
  21. Russians love the Rangers. Makes Schnieder and Miller more likely to be traded.
  22. Wow, those eighteen months or so that I missed really brought in some quality posters.
  23. Pay Tooch what he’s worth. This team desperately needs credibility.
  24. 3 teams in New York! this is interesting
