A couple of things in Rosen. 1) all his points are on the power play 2) history is full off AHL stars who couldn’t translate it to the NHL. If he can mimic VO and turn his defensive game into an asset, he has a shot, otherwise he’s Jody Gage. 3) do you really think the coaches would purposefully keep a player down if they thought that player would help them win?

If I would have made my comment about the owner pep talk when we were playing another team at a different location, then my comment would have been gratuitous and annoying. That isn’t the case and wasn’t the intention. Just continue posting with no inhibitions. It’s better that way. 🍻

I agree; we'll have to wait and see. And yet, if they finally a standard to follow that produces wins, and a rallying cry "This is how we play", it could become a self-fulfilling prophecy. I think for it to work, you need the elder statesmen of the team giving full support to the upstarts and recognizing their contributions. They have to support the Crest, not individual factions in the room like they did int he Eichel era.

mjd is correct. You can't backload contracts to gain cap space up front in the NHL.

I am not gonna lie... watching him meltdown was freaking hysterical... Dahlin got his helmet fixed and Thompson got him off.. no harm or foul... but the getting knocked on as a$$ the return check when he was going after him and the epic meltdown was worth the price of admission... LOL
