  1. Past hour
  2. Are we sure its 4 he's willing to go to and not just block 4 teams? We could still try to convince him since he's from Windsor however.
  3. Two things can be simultaneously correct: that they still have those guys on the roster AND they have fewer easier to play against types this year versus last. It has to be Ruff pushing this move toward shaping a roster this way. His predecessor and Adams back then certainly weren't. My hope is that adding players like Kesselring, Danforth, and Doan (if he gets to the big club) provide the on-ice example to play this way and not the apathetic style we've seen. It ain't the top-6 forward or major shake-up I'd hoped for, but at this point it's the path they've chosen.
  4. And also, who is out there advocating to be easier to play against. It goes without saying that you’re trying to improve your roster and you want to be more difficult to play against. Or maybe it’s just so damn hot down here in Florida that I’m getting the palm tree madness and I can’t think clearly.
  5. It's better for Johnson's development to play heavy minutes in Rochester vs the spot duty Bryson is getting in Buffalo.
  6. Fowler has a 4 team trade list. My guess is that the Sabres are not one of the 4 teams he would accept a trade to. The Sabres would need a D back I think. And the Blues would need to shed some space to extend Byram. Would Broberg be a good partner for Dahlin? Broberg and Neighbors for Byram and…
  7. blocking works wonders.
  8. That's just it - he wants to be able to claim total credit in doing for the Sabres what his employees did for the Bills and Bandits. This is what Sabres fans are stuck with.
  9. What could Chevy have even done? You know…aside from make the playoffs 8 times
  10. What!? But Jeannot got 5 years? Unless the Bruins defense drags them to the playoffs I think you're right
  11. Maybe his checking game but that about it.
  12. Each +1 or -1 is a standard deviation away from the mean. Above they are better than 50% of the league, below they are worse. Also this is a rough explanation and if someone understands it better, go for it.
  13. I’m older than you are Mr. Youngster. You have become a frantic fan who buys a ticket just to boo. Freaking calm down and cool off. You are loosing your marbles over a bloody game. You need to tune out for a tad to get your stressed out batteries recharged.
  14. Technically, they both did. Which one WILL be harder to play against is the Q it seems you were trying to ask.
  15. This "harder to play against" narrative makes me laugh. Sweeney in Boston saying exactly the same thing. "We want to be harder to play against". So Sabres add Kesselring and Doan. Bruins add Jeannot, Eyssimont, Kuraly and already have Zadorov and Kastelic. I do not expect either team to make the playoffs, but who actually became harder to play against?
  16. 6 x 8.5m. Proves he didn't want to stay in Winnipeg.
  17. You're an apologist for a franchise of failure. Are you maybe too young to know what a real team should function like? I'm not "hysterical" I'm just no longer "Hoping" or giving them the benefit of a doubt. I'm just f'n fed up.
  18. The good just got better.
  19. Today
  20. It’s basically saying with the visual that the only striking/notable difference between the two players is a clear win in Byram’s favour. So dealing him say for Neighbours straight up would be kinda funny work
  21. I dont know what these charts are supposedly saying, but is that they are both really bad defensivley??
  22. Perhaps but they’re never content. They get knocked out of the playoffs come back and trade for Miller, sign the big fish FA in Ehlers. The Sabres are going on 15 years no playoffs yet sign a backup to what should be a backup goalie, some players for the AHL and trade away our 3rd leading goal scorer to finally get tougher to play against in Adams 6th year. .
  23. I should hope so.. if by “over time” you mean “later this season”. Danforth has 64 career nhl points and he’s 32 years old lol. Fledgling Benson (age 20) has 58 points, 6 behind Danforth’s career total. So, don’t don’t put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby
  24. No I didn’t say I liked it more I said today’s is far more embarrassing cause it is
  25. I am sick of Adams “thou shalt not block” mentality, yet here are Johnson & Novikov sitting behind that little soft turd Bryson.
  26. Don't tell NS.
