  1. Past hour
  2. There are some athletes in all sports that just seem destined to always be injured
  3. I wasn’t impressed. He made a boneheaded play that hung Power out to dry on the shorty we gave up. He is now in my goalie doghouse as a result. That said, he didn’t get much help the rest of the way and he did make a few nice saves. Perhaps I won’t put him in the doghouse after all. But he is definitely chained to a post right outside.
  4. Haven’t been to the stadium in a while, but I will be going to the Jest game at the end of the regular season. We had season tickets in ‘73 and I attended the first game ever against the Redskins (thanks, Herb Mul-Key) and of course the first regular season game vs. the Jets (thanks, John Leypoldt) and it will be a fitting and great bookend for my Rich Stadium experience by ending it against the Jets.
  5. Barkov and Tkachuk out for any extended length of time make Florida vulnerable to missing the playoffs. They had 98 points last year.
  6. Oh look, another one that will heal right after game 82.
  7. We will certainly never hear anything like that again, either. Play by play announcers today are geared for TV and TV only. And they can’t paint a picture for listeners to save their lives. I’m looking at you Dunleavy.
  8. How did Georgiev look? Looks like he had some great saves but largely was hung out to dry?
  9. That’s close to 100 years of hockey that the Sabres and amerks have lost in the last couple years. We’ll never see anything like that again.
  10. The last thing that sot needs is an excuse to have a drinking party.
  11. Maybe Hegseth just looking for an excuse to have a drinking party.
  12. What's the point of Samuelsson? He's the concept of kassian but as a defender.
  13. the Arizona alternates from last night have a Jackson Pollack spattering of light brown, i thought.
  14. Samuelsson injured already. Good thing we kept him for this season.
  15. Against the instinct of every bone in my body, I will be attending the game. I want to see the stadium one more time. I owe her that. We'll see if a 1 p.m. Sunday vs. NO will be a touch kinder and gentler than the evening game against the Pats a few years ago.
  16. Don Stevens is retiring at the end of this upcoming season. 40 years behind the mic in ROC! https://www.amerks.com/news/detail/amerks-broadcaster-don-stevens-to-retire-following-2025-26-season?fbclid=IwdGRleANDluFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHvrxzNFvoCkTEpp2jaDOmC4oLqKSedA_bnZSD8qKk8g_KsAFm_NqrWgCvpCl_aem_hqYNTiIbksKL6VJpuwsrxg
  17. Definitely, but it can also unlock a young player too. Functional strength to help protect the puck, win puck battles, and lay some lumber. Also while it can probably harm straight line speed and maybe acceleration, it likely also can contribute to some benefits to your conditioning in the 3rd periods and later in the season.
  18. I will ask the prayer circle at my church to add you.
  19. Terry has no intention of leaving. He's even constructing a ballroom over where the museum was supposed to go.
  20. And nothing screams desert like a white jersey... oh wait, the largest desert in the world is white. Maybe they're onto something.
  21. Muel-PO already in midseason form?
  22. Oh wait a minute, my wife wants me out of the house during games
  23. If the Sabres don’t play competitive hockey, my response will be simple. I will tune them out and direct my attention to other endeavors. The fanbase is severely eroded as evidenced by the bountiful empty seats in the arena . If the silent owner doesn’t show some urgency, I’ll also fall by the wayside like so many fans already have done so.
