Byram has packed up his house and will be moved: After the Whistle

This doesn't make any sense. It's just another emotional rant. -

IMHO - I don’t see Byram signing a bridge deal unless both sides agree to arbitration. If Byram doesn’t want to be here, then I am inclined to believe Pegula and Adams will try to move him vs. overpaying to keep him. If other teams believe Byram doesn’t want to be here, then they can and should lowball Adams. -

Dude, don’t make that trade. Say no to EP. Norris, if healthy, will be a good player. Östlund looks good so far. -
Don't forget about every God awful power play, which feel like it's a 5050 chance of becoming a shortie for the opponent 😃

It's been 15 yrs of foolish decisions. You may want to encourage more bad decisions but I don't. We're discussing a particular player, not the history of the sordid Pegula tenure. -
You know what would be fun??? Collecting enough money to pay for a billboard. A billboard that GM Shevyn (kudos to DarthEbriate for that nickname) is likely to see, almost every day. A billboard that says, something like, "Hey Kevin, a REAL owner would have fired your [cartoon donkey] by now!!!!" Oh, how cathartic that would feel!!! 😃

I hope you’re right. I could use a reward. -
Ya and I guess that's what Pegula believes as well. Eventually it'll all just fall into place. I'm just pissed they have no urgency or real desire to win. Giant war chest filled with prospects. Lots of trades you could make and they are just running everything back. Norris instead of Cozens and Levi instead of Reimer and that's it. I guess a Byram trade for who knows what so the D is even thinner. This year Adams will do something good though right? Right.

If you expect me to defend KA as a GM, then you haven't read my many comments on him. KA is often wrong on assessing players and brutal in constructing a coherent roster. That doesn't mean that everything he does is wrong. I'm resolute in my judgment of this particular tall and lanky defenseman. I'm very comfortable and confident that he will soon be a primary core player for us. Be more patient and you will be rewarded. -

I'm a staunch Power supporter. I strongly believe that when he physically matures he will be the better player. He's a tall and lanky player with a lot more ability to fill-out. Just like it took Tage a few years to become more physically developed, I see the same process applying to Power. I'm tired of seeing this fool franchise get rid of young players who become upper echelon players in this league, such as Eichel and Reinhart. (I'm aware that the situations were more complicated, but if Power is dealt our loss will be another team's big gain. Be patient and get the right partner for Power. I'm adamant about my position on this player. -

Byram played with Dahlin. End of story. Even a 6'4 225lb 2nd round marshmallow can look like a $30,000,000 player next to Dahlin. 😞 -

The organization? The same organization the gave Power a huge contract after 80 games. That would be the GM that traded for Byram, then a year later admits he didn’t have a plan on how to use him. -

Byram had a better year. Right now I prefer his game over Power. Both are very young. Compared to Power, Byram can play just as many minutes, probably more. He did not get nearly as much PP time and still finished just 2 points behind Power. Byram was +11, Power -13. Coincidence? Byram was much more physical and more involved. What is Power doing to make you so positive? - Today

The issues associated with Byram and how he fits with the Sabres relates to potential contract size and also style of play fit with the blueline as it is presently constituted. Can the organization keep him from a cap distribution standpoint if he ends up with a high-end contract which I believe he will soon garner? The contract that Samuelsson got created a cap distribution imbalance that would make it difficult to keep Byram. If Samuelsson got dealt, which I believe is unlikely due to his sizeable contract, then signing him to an extension would be more plausible. -

Zach Benson. I'm fine with keeping Östlund btw, I like him. -

Thanks. I guess I should never be surprised when the unopened package is preferred to the imperfect one. i don't understand the amount of Sabre fans who seem to consider Byram to be another Colin Miller. I guess i should be hoping that they're right, but that some NHL GM agrees with me and pays a fortune for him. -
Slavin with OT winner. Great player.

Canes v Caps has been slow until 3rd. Ready for OT.

In my opinion, definitely more upside. He's not a banger and never will be. And neither will Byram, who I do like a lot. But if I had to make a choice, I would prefer Power over Byram. It appears that the organization also sees it that way. As many others have stated, it is a priority to get a suitable partner for Power in order to put him in a better position to succeed.
