We will need Geertsen and Dunne in the line up when we play Rempe and Jeannot in Boston and Brady in Ottawa and the Xjeha brothers in Montreal
-
There’s a lot of hockey to come this year. If he keeps on track, he’ll see time this year. Again, he’s 22 and we’ve rushed far too many players in recent years. Let him lead that Rochester team for a bit and then give him his time.
-
Johnson and Mrtka start the season in Buffalo because two of Power, Byram and Samuelsson won't be available on opening night.
-
Adams' "elite" D group Dahlin Byram Power Kesselring Samuelsson Timmins Adams current healthy D group Dahlin Kesselring Johnson Timmins Bryson Mtrka (R) Samuelsson (Week to Week), Byram (day to day), Power (day to day).

He's earned a look. Last year he was a +28- best on the team by far. Next closest D was Metsa at +15. Komorov was +7. In his first year he was also first on the team at +20. Metsa was next again at +15. Johnson was +5. If I'm him, I'm at the very least questioning my future in the org, given lesser players seem to be getting chances over me.
-
Novikov spent 2yrs in the KHL and the last 2 in Rochester. He's got 4 years of pro hockey under his belt. He'll be a RFA after this season ends. 3 full ahl years with no look and the KHL easily within reach, hard to say what he'll do.

Yup

Played on a beer league team called the Goat Phlegm... still have the jersey may need to take a pic tomorrow when I get home...
- Today

He’s 22 and has been here 2 years. We don’t need to rush everyone.
-
The agent sure does hate him taking that deal though. I do think though that the PA much prefers the attention grabbing deals. We all know they don’t care one bit about the Malenstyn’s of the world.

Injury update, Sept 26, 2025: Samuelsson Week to Week

Right, his father. The original post mentioned his uncle playing in the NHL too. -
I know, it's a Ram, but the old pictures can't be found online. Our jerseys used to be a side view with that little snort of red blood. Red black and white, almost identical to the Sabres "goathead" which you know isn't actually a "goat" either. This is why I like them so much. I wore 5 which I guess makes me the equivalent of Lee Fogolin, and comparatively that's about right.

Jones over Bryson. Heck, there's people that would prefer Metsa over Bryson. 😉
-
Ryan Johnson might stick around, particularly given the injuries on D. The fact that Zac Jones was waived and sent to Rochester seems to support the notion of Johnson getting some kind of shot, as Jones was expected to stay with the Sabres and possibly take the 7th spot from Bryson. That Bryson contract, although not very old, is not aging well. I think that most would prefer Johnson OR Jones over Bryson. And don't get me started about Bernard-Docker. And I don't dislike Bryson as much as many on this board, I just think that Johnson, Jones, and Bernard-Docker are better players.

That's not a ####ing goat, you hoser. 😉

I can't believe Schumer caved to the radical left of his party and chose to shut down the government. It's going to be interesting to see what Vought does.

we should take him , edit: nevermind 😛

I L Well, if the crowd at the Fishies game was any indication, they've already sold a #### ton of the Lions/Cowboys Bills jerseys.

Yes more empty threats and pointing at players safely in the penalty box with two linsemen in between
-
Who said he's not getting paid?
-
Sabres need more of this:
-
And why presume, if they don't pay Tuch, that they'll pay ANYBODY the money that he would've been getting? Wouldn't have minded the Peterka trade as much had they been sitting at $1MM in cap space now rather than $5.1MM. Trading Tuch (because he'll be the best player in the trade going either way) or letting him walk is the proverbial "canary in the coal mine." Still have time to sign him; but have little faith that Adams will be able to adjust capably to the Kaprisov signing and what it implies for new contracts moving forward.

The proposal was SPECIFICALLY for setting up that full concierge service between the blue lines at ice level. Know this one for a fact.
