  1. Past hour
  2. Holy ***** it's 11
  3. I’m nervous about McQueen’s injury. Given the usual inept management I’d worry they try to rush him. He needs to be able to get healthy and train to build up his frame a bit more before hitting the AHL. That being said, he looks like he would be awesome if healthy.
  4. There was rumours telling that at some point during the season, but I also remember hearing Kreider had some injury issues this season. Hard to know what to believe. A deal with both Kreider and Schneider could be a interesting package if Rangers really want Kreider gone.
  5. Dallas-Edmonton is an enticing matchup. Looking forward to that. Toronto is yesterdays news.
  6. Speaking of whom, @SDS should be getting nervous. https://www.sabrespace.com/community/topic/32104-rd-1-pick-9-matthew-savoie-c/#findComment-1508001
  7. A 100 point per year Selkie candidate would clearly be of no use to us...
  8. Marner, Ehlers, Bennett 1 of them would certainly help yes because adding an elite offensive talent to your forward group is just awful. Who wants 4 seasons of 97, 99, 85, 102 points added to their roster.
  9. Today
  10. Excellent review of value of an asset that should have multi-team interest.
  11. We also have assets such as prospects and draft picks to dangle. On the Quinn, Samuelsson and JJP availability I would rather keep them but that doesn't mean that I'm completely closed off to deals that give us a return that upgrades the roster. I would love to add players in the same mold of McCleod and Zucker to the roster. What did we give up for them? McCleod was added for a good prospect in a system that has other replacement prospects. How about scanning the RFA players such as Zucker whose cost would be less due to the contract status. We'll get a player, even if for one year, who is incentivized to produce the next season. It certainly worked out well for us with the Zucker transaction. What we need from this dullard organization is a little creativity and imagination from the front office this offseason. The problem is that so far KA hasn't shown that creative ability to make enough of those type of deals to sufficiently improve our roster better. As I have previously stated, I'm not advocating for a bonanza deal/s that strip the young talent from our roster. What I'm looking for is a number of medium B deals that better balance this incongruous roster.
  12. I haven’t seen any rumours, but I assume the Rangers are going to try and move Kreider. They found ways to move Goodrow and Trouba. Their cap issues would mostly be resolved if they can trade Kreider.
  13. Is that like A, B, C, D, F....and they are even worse than an F?
  14. Any thoughts on Matt Dumba? He finished the year hurt certainly obtainable. Other cheaper older guy might be Jan Rutta 34 year old UFA.
  15. Probably would need a prospect on buffalo's side, and would require them dumping some money somehow.
  16. Buffalos forward group seem to be skilled offensively but lack any defensive awareness especially in our own end of the ice. Also our situational awareness is terrible. We still lack players who go in front of the net or that battle hard along the boards, still lack players who can throw their bodies around or drop the gloves when called for and it’s been this way all throughout Adams tenure.
  17. Toronto is going to match any offer so it would be a waste of time for an offer sheet even if we could do it. Tavares is going to go unless he wants to come back for 2 million or something. Marner may walk. They won't let go of Knies.
  18. Well at least we found out that Justin Bieber is in fact still alive, and Drake gambled away another million bucks.
  19. Agreed. I've said it before.... IMO their best course of action is to hire a veteran POHO who can set forth a strategic plan for the franchise. Identifying the young talent which fits in that plan and filing in with experienced veterans either via trade or free agency. I don't trust KA, Terry or anybody else in the current organization to come up with a strategy or execute on a plan. Their current plan of "We only want players who want to be here and nobody wants to be here because palm trees and taxes" is pure loser talk. While true to some degree, as a leader of the franchise, you can't come out and say that publicly. The message needs to be "Our goal is to win. Wether or not you really want to be here is irrelevant to us. We don't care about your feelings, we're in the business of winning. We're paying you as an employee to play the game up to our standard. Go whine about the taxes to somebody who cares."
  20. Sweet. No Sabres on the list.
  21. Kevyn sent our 2026 2nd round pick to Ottawa so it's out of the question.
  22. The McCabe thing was incredible as he was injured attempting an absolutely filthy hit that if landed probably would've caused the Devils player to be seriously injured.
  23. Why are people so weird with this stuff?
  24. I’m fine with the forward group as is. It’s not perfect, a few small changes might help, but I like the core of Benson, Tuch, TNT, Kulich, McLeod, Zucker, & JJP. With a healthy Norris so much better. This is not the area that kept this team from winning.
  25. The Sabres have lots of young* players, they should trade some lottery tickets for sure things. Not all of them but some.
  26. Your options here are *****. Designed to force an answer that gives you a win. They will be more successful if the identify which young talent to keep and which to trade. You're so wrong on all this and we have years is proof. What, if we trade Östlund and Samuelsson for a 29yr defender we're gonna lose in round 1 and won't be good for a decade? What a fake set of choices. We traded Savoie for McLeod, guess we're losing in round 1 instead of being good for a decade.
