  1. Past hour
  2. Aaron Rogers will be a first ballot HOF member, maybe even a unanimous selection. I’m aware he is afflicted with injuries but it is evident that at this stage he’s a shell of a player that he once was. I’m sure this will be his last year.
  3. Back in the day they always started at 7:30. For me in the central time zone it gives a bit more time to finish up with work, walk the dog and pick up dinner.
  4. My friend’s daughter works for the Federal Reserve. She’s very smart. Whenever I see her I jokingly ask her what is crypto. She then jokingly responds: I don’t know. The best way to describe this “scheme” is that it is a vehicle to launder dirty money and hide ownership of that money. And there are a lot of naive and unaware people who will sadly lose a lot of their money because of their gullibility. I’m a 500 S&P index investor.
  5. Just like the last 150 times over the last 4 years. They drag me back in just to lose in embarrassing fashion
  6. They also need tackles. That plan yesterday was a necessity.
  7. I thought about going tonight until I saw the 7:30 start. Seems like there’s been a lot of these this year. I’m no fan. Go Sabres.
  8. Today
  9. Right back at it. Yes that’s a 7:30 home start. Fourth game in six nights for the Sabres (10-11-4). The Jets (13-11-0) are also on their fourth game in six nights, and tonight is the fourth stop on a five-game road trip for Winnipeg. Both teams will hold a morning skate, so stay tuned for line-up information (Joshua Norris, Jordan Greenway, Colten Ellis, etc). This may be an Eric Comrie revenge game as Connor Charles Hellebuyck is on IR after knee surgery. Tage Nathaniel Thompson leads the Sabres in goal scoring with 12 goals and nine assists. Alex Daniel Tuch leads the team in points (8G 14A for 22PTS). Joshua Thomas Doan has four goals and three assists over the past ten games. As a team, the Sabres shooting percentage is 10.34%, good for 19th in the league. Kyle David Connor has 12 goals and 17 assists for the Jets. Mark Scheifele leads the team in points (13G 18A for 31 PTS). Defenseman Joshua Morrissey has three goals and eight assists over the last ten games. As a team, the Jets shooting percentage is 11.85%, good for eighth in the league. Last ten games as a team: Sabres: 5-5-0, averaging 3.4 goals while giving up 3.4 goals per game. Jets: 4-6-0, averaging 2.9 goals while giving up 3.3 goals per game.
  10. If the Bengals somehow win out we would likely win the division because of the 5-1 mark in the division as the tiebreaker. If they had only won even one of those nutty games without Burrow...
  11. It's a funny thing but there are always lots of good stats on Sabres teams but there we are, last place with the lowest win percentage in the east.
  12. I’m in NC and it was broadcast on ESPN.
  13. He’s had some bad games, but they usually coincide with bad Sabres games overall. However he was excellent against Minn and has been good the majority of games this season. If you look at his PT, Ruff seems to play him 20+ when he’s going well.
  14. Yes I would most definitely trade Byram. Didn't see anything from Kesselring that impressed me. Disappointed actually but the sample size is small. imo Timmons has dropped off substantially and currently is very very average at best.
  15. Well I'm seeing them end up as goals for the opposition.
  16. It sure looked rather one dimensional during the game. Allen to Cook for the run or pass. They need weapons for Josh but I know I'm preaching to the choir.
  17. The league looks wide open this year. Bills should have been able to capitalize on that. I still hope they find a way to but we all know how this mofo goes.
  18. I don’t know what that stuff really is. Some Chinese guy came up with numbers and computing algorithms for something-something? My best investment decisions have been in companies and businesses that I understand.
  19. Not just stop turning over the ball, but also start to get a few from our defense. We have Allen and Cook trying to do too much. Once the D got that first turnover (it sure did help that it got them 6), the weight of the world was off their shoulders and the fun began.
  20. It went to a different tiebreaker advantage. Prior to losing to Joe Rodent Home's Bungles, they had the better division record than the Stillers which was the 1st applicable tie breaker for them as they haven't played each other yet. They now are both 2-1 in division. They must have a better common opponent record than Pittsburgh, because Pittsburgh has the better conference record.
  21. Said it before the game, and do believe it was part of what got them this win. Both OTs being out rather than playing while shells of themselves forced Brady and Kromer to actually come up with a plan to neutralize the Stillers pass rush. They'd've still left the OTs on islands and run their normal pass/run mix and wouldn't have been nearly as effective as they were. The massive beasts they have on the O-line are custom built for road grading - even the backups. Once the Bills stopped turning the ball over, that game became fun. Cincy will give them a better test, but they're beatable even with Joe Rodent Home back.
  22. The Ravens own the tiebreakers over the Steelers, but fell behind the Steelers when the Ravens lost on Thanksgiving. Now that the Steelers lost too, the Ravens are back in first by virtue of their tiebreaker advantage.
  23. I don’t fully agree on the defense. With Samuelsson’s re-emergence and the addition of Timmins, I think the Sabres are one defensive D from being above average defensively. All the defensive metrics are improved this season. The goaltending remains a black hole. The Sabres save% (.887 vs .891) overall and 5 on 5 (.902 vs .913) is subpar. These numbers are pretty disappointing in light of the improved defensive metrics and the excellent PK. If we just had average goaltending we’d probably have another couple of win already (in regulation no less).
  24. Benson Tage Tuch Quinn Norris Doan Zucker McLeod Kulich Greenway Kozak Malenstyn That group has a chance to grow into a Playoff team IMO Krebs, Dunne, Danforth, Östlund, Rosen next men in.
