That said, Lake Erie / the Grand River (in Dunnville) would probably be the best choice out of any lake in Ontario that I can think of that is known for Walleye, but still has "some" salmon.

The Sabres could've attempted to hire Montgomery when the Bruins let him go. Nah. They aren't going to hire DeBoer. If GMKA is still in power next year, it's the Appert show. Only Pegula could overrule him, and the only coaches Pegula knows are ex-Sabres coaches.

Agreed. These two SCF games have made up for a lot of those other series. These two games have been some of the best I can recall (which, admittedly, isn't saying much).

There’s only been 3 game 7s out of 14 completed series and 2 were in the first round. 4 of the last 6 series were 4-1. Really just hoping for a long final here

I think it’s been mediocre. Edmonton breezed and outside Toronto-Florida the east wasn’t much better.

I was at the gym a couple of days ago and was in the locker room getting ready to leave. There was a blind fellow with a cane who was leaving the locker room. He confidently walked out of the locker room tapping the cane in front of him. I marveled at that. While watching him easily negotiate the room I walked into a bench and nearly fell flat on my face. I thought to myself how klutzy I was and how ridiculous the situation was.

Florida has to play like that. Especially in the third which Edmonton has owned all playoffs.

Also it's crazy to think, the Stars just fired a HC who made the Stanley Cup playoff finals 3 years in a row and we continue to let our GM who hasn't made it to a single playoff apopearance get a 6th season, it's crazy to think about that but easy to wonder why we haven't made the playoffs in 15 seasons.

In a lot of ways, this year has been one of the best playoffs ever.
