Still expect "This Beat Goes On" by the Kings would've been a good choice. Not impressed with the choices they're down to. Would go w/ the Motley Crew tune if absolutely had to pick one of them. Expecting Jeremy White finally gets his way but am not thrilled about it.

I’d put a write in candidate. Slipknot, People = *****

I almost wonder if he got lucky with the Bills, like, he just happened to pick the right folks... I also think he fancies himself as a hockey guy and is more involved in the day to day as opposed to football where he probably finds himself way out of his league, like after he picked Sexy Rexy he may have said oh geez... I do however on Bills draft day watch Beane explain every pick to him... but never once have I heard him ask why or I like this guy... I think he may with the Sabres...

Only forward not to record a hit last night. The usual drifting around waiting for someone to feed him a puck or the play to come to him. Helenius recorded 7 hits last night. -
I actually got a chuckle out of how freaking terrible those choices are. It fits in perfectly with the whole trainwreck of an organization. I mean, you really have to laugh that they can never get anything right😆 I suppose if you HAD to get the crowd to actually join in, Swords of a Thousand Men would have to be the choice.

I kinda think if you got a couple beers and a couple dogs it might already be... if not really close...

Ruff implied last season that Samuelsson came into the year out of shape and explicitly said so this year. That he didn't strip a letter from him implies that he considers him in shape this year. His '23-'24 season ended in January, so yes, he was recovering from an injury once again. Agreed, that it will be interesting to see if he's back to his early NHL form with a full healthy off-season this year.
-
Lindy was very clear a few days ago that he thought Mule was out of shape last year and just as clear that is not the case this year.

My vote is for Yakety Sax.

Poor guy can't even be frustrated with himself without screwing up.

Insane? Huh?

He's been since the draft a potential all around top pairing defender. Mrtka will probably be better than Power some day. -
Crazy, humorous, silly. Spot on. I frickin' loved this band back in the mid-90s, man. Just kicked out some rocking jams and kept things light. My suggestion that the Sabres actually use 2:07 onward as a goal song (LOOK OUT!) was, in and of itself, a bit silly.

Crazy song, kind of humorous too. Silly lyrics. From the 2:07 - the outro changes into something that could rev up a crowd. Add in the sound of Sabres rattling and cutting the air. It could work.

Physicality, skill and NHL upside. Prior to rookie camp, the universal reaction was “he’s fine”. He’s looked better right now than people realized he was and shown more upside than they gave him credit for. No I don’t think he should make the team, I’ve just been impressed with his tools and where his game is already. -
Stick to the classic "Sabre Dance" after goals and then let the changes from the current culture flow into it. Forcing a song based on a random list of candidates won't work. It has to evolve.

LOOK OUT! 2:07 mark - my time stamp didn't take in the post.

You're gonna start Mrtka over which one? Dahlin, Kesselring, or Timmins? If Timmins how does 14 min a night on a 3rd pair with no pp time help Mrtka develop? -

I just saw some clips on the game. So I don't want to exaggerate the significance of what I saw. What was evident to me on the Byrum and I believe the Power?? goal is net presence that created congestion in front of the goalie. It seems that there is an emphasis on tougher play in front of both ends of the net. That adjustment in mentality will be a positive step. -
You talking about Justin Bieber?

BRING IT BACK!!!

I don't really like any of these songs for a goal song. How underwhelming. Seems like the franchise is searching for some identity, chasing a "Mr. Brightside", but I think they have to let it come to them. Fix the on ice product, produce a good team, and the right vibes will come. In the interim just stick with some of the classics like Song 2- Blur, or Machinehead- Bush. I do feel like hockey has always lent itself to rock and roll, heavy/punk. But I wouldn't mind if they leaned more hip hop. Bring Em' Out - TI Still Fly - Big Timers Hate Me Now -Diddy (problematic at the moment) Husltin- Rick Ross Hard in the Paint - Waka Flaka Flame (if we are gonna pick a song to change the culture maybe this is it) The kiddos can jump in with more ideas. But the current mumble rap sucks and I am over whatever this country rap thing is.
