You seem to be suggesting that the Sabre players are less fit than most other players in the league and it is a factor for the number of injuries. I doubt that is the case. There is no question that the Sabres have had a series of injuries that has thinned out the roster. That's just the way it works out. Players being injured by the puck is uncontrollable. What makes the number of injuries even more noticeable is that this roster is thinner than most and has less capability to absorb injuries to front line players. Hockey is obviously a very physical sport, and injuries are an issue that all teams have to contend with. It just so happens that we have been subjected more than the usual number of injuries. It happens and can't be controlled.

At Tuch's age 8 years for that kind of money would be a big mistake. Deadline deal him. He should get you a lot. Then if he really wants to be a Sabre he can come back in free agency. If he doesn't whatever. It's not like this roster is close or something.

Jordan Hancock has been getting snaps for several weeks now and I fully expect him to become our next Micah Hyde. Their career arcs are very similar.

The Bills may just get it going. I think we saw something with Shavers and Palmer getting more snaps, and Coleman getting less. Allen made a few mistakes, but he shouldn’t have to apologize for 6TDs. Can someone tell me why Hardman was moved onto the main roster as opposed to being activated off the practice squad? Is it an issue of only a certain number can activated and they needed to move one of him or Davis onto the active roster? I would have figured that the guy who has been with the team for more than a couple days would get that slot. Cap issues?

At this stage, they just need to get into the playoffs. The line for the first team out just fell further back. This is a good thing.
