  1. Past hour
  2. NHL needs to stop. 84 games is 12 games too many.
  3. Yup I want Martin or Bear too Gimme some of that NASTY!!!
  4. Yesterday
  5. Other changes with new CBA 84 regular season games with less preseason ones starting 2026-27
  6. The way you lay out the comparison I am even more convinced that it would not be wise to swap these players. As far as the potential downside for JJP I would say that the concern for his slide would be minimal because over the last couple of years in his early career he has already demonstrated improvement. So although I wouldn’t be foolish in guaranteeing that he won’t slide back, I’m comfortable in expecting upside.
  7. I thought that was a practiced line that said “we might get stuck with these guys so I’m going to put this out there because I need to hedge my bets, but I am looking.
  8. I assume you feel the same way about District Judge Brian Murphy who stated he plans on defying a Supreme Court ruling?
  9. Now the NCAA needs to let them stick around after signing.
  10. Beyond disgusting. Please tell me again how we are not dealing with a fascist regime? Defying the courts and the rule of law is STEP ONE in the Fascist 101 playbook. MAGA scum. https://abcnews.go.com/US/whistleblower-complaint-alleges-top-doj-official-emil-bove/story?id=123167302
  11. What a reality show it would be to have all access to the current state of affairs with Adams, Pegula and the lot. It would be spectacular.
  12. Upside in their careers, or upside this season? Jordan Kyrou is a better hockey player right now than JJ Peterka. He’s not going to get better. JJ Peterka might. He’s not going to get worse. JJ Peterka might. His worst full seasons are 27 goals and 67 points. Peterka’s best full seasons are 28 goals and 68 points. And what about the next follow-up question: which of these two players have more downside?
  13. So, now it's safe for Botterill to draft CHL players outside the top 10 selections?
  14. Seems smart. Now limit 18-year-olds to the first round.
  15. If you consider these two players to be comparable or close to it, then the follow up question should be which of these two players have more upside? Unless there is more going on than we are aware of: don’t trade JJP.
  16. Proposed change all players will have their rights maintained by the drafting team until 22 years of age
  17. Tage reminded us that he has some history with Kyrou from the Saint Louis days. Honestly Tage deserves to play with developed NHL players. Kyrou is that. Benson and Kulich are not.
  18. And KA has confidence in our goaltending, apparently
  19. Better be one heck of a player....someone who doesn't care about palm trees!!!
  20. Canadian?
  21. That's appropriate, since he wasn't a top 20 player.
  22. Double whammy. He’s giving final say on this. And giving it to a GM that might be gone by Thanksgiving.
  23. He has used the word “conversations” about 12,456 times. Loser. He’s a total loser. I have zero faith he is up to this job. And in the process he’s making a mockery of this organization. Not that Pegula cares.
  24. Elliotte Friedman: I think the chances are pretty good that Sabres Bowen Byram gets dealt, with JJ Peterka I still don't think Buffalo's heart is really in it - SN 590
  25. Maybe Ruff won't stupidly bench for a penalty while everyone else Sunday skates around. Or maybe Benson will finally get pp time.
  26. And he’s good at hockey At face value this take doesn’t suck but his underlying metrics are special. He’s got it. Whatever it is. He has it in droves and he’s a dick on the ice.
  27. As I’ve said before, the only way I take picks is within a Peterka to Chicago deal for 3 and using some of Byram’s value to get #2 to take Misa who is NHL ready. Otherwise if we use #9, I want the best non-small forward/defender we can get.
