  1. Past hour
  2. Someone else did. The rest I agree with.
  3. What was the final score? Should I mail you a calculator? Didn't say goalied either. I said their goalie was much better than our goalie
  4. Oh never mind. I’m sorry. I got the names mixed up.
  5. So, wait,… the expected goals was .21 above the actual? I guess I stand corrected. That was some other worldly goaltending that I should probably rewatch to see what I missed the first time. We did not get goalied.
  6. He looked a tad off last night and at one point was bear hugged and thrown to the ice so that could be cause for it. Not good regardless, without Benson we are 0-3 and look pitiful
  7. I wonder if it’s still related to his face
  8. Expected goals Buffalo 4.21 Boston 2.41 probability of winning was 70% Buffalo the goalies were the difference. Case closed. On to tomorrows game
  9. That’s after their goals, not after some crazy save by Korprisalo. His saves were what you expect an NHL goaltender to make.
  10. Zach Benson is on IR
  11. Well kisakov certainly won't considering Rochester didn't even sign him.
  12. Ă–stlund was sent down (or "loaned" to Rochester, if there's a difference). I've been unimpressed with what I have seen from Rosen to date. When he's been in Buffalo, he's been fairly invisible on the ice. He doesn't generate offense, he doesn't appear to do anything defensively, he's not hitting people, he's not driving play. Hopefully, he's improved and will add more value on this callup than in previous ones. Typically, I think that patience is required with the development of many young players, but usually they show SOMETHING when they get called up. Guys might not score a lot, but are hitting people, or are making plays, pressuring the other team with their speed, etc. Guys like Thompson and Mittlestadt were not good in their early games with the Sabres, but at least demonstrated something. Thompson has unteachable size and his puck dangling, Mittlestadt showed good hands. Devon Levi has had some sharp games. Ryan Johnson has shown some ability to skate well and to get the puck up ice. Not consistently, but flashes of what might happen in the future when they're more mature and stronger. I have seen no such flash from Rosen.
  13. Meh….Kisakov, Rosen, Östlund, Kulich…..I have my doubts that any of them will become what I consider to be true top 6 forwards. I realize Kulich has been with us for a while now, but I only consider him to be 3rd line material on a good team. I had hopes for Östlund being a true center & playmaker and I think he’s the only one I still have hope for.
  14. He’s earned it, maybe he’ll show something this time
  15. He’s flashed a bit in the AHL but has yet to show signs he’s an NHL player. Hopefully he does something,
  16. There has to be a corresponding move cause we are at the roster limit with 3 goalies Was someone hurt in the Boston game?
  17. Today
  18. St. Louis waived Colten Ellis and are currently getting this for goaltending: Binnington .860 sv% and a -6.5 Goals Saved Above Average Hofer .793 sv% and -8.4 GSAA
  19. Gophers at Badgers last night. Badgers won 5-2. Zelenov got his pocket picked for a breakaway goal, but he came right back and picked up a primary assist. Teammate Kukkonen (Ducks) did a great job delaying a dump-in and attracting attention. Zelenov sped to the corner and passed to the unmarked Badger in the slot. Osburn had 6 shots on goal. Ziemer scored a tap-in on a nice cross-crease feed. They'll complete the Madison set on 11/1.
  20. Yes, he has skill and he looks like a smart player but he was not ready to physically engage in the game at this level yet. He minded his position and was responsible defensively but he really hesitates to possess the puck and that has to be part of his game at some point. He did manage to get a few shots on net though. Greenway is by far more valuable to the team right now. Ă–stlund still has a chance to play in the NHL, but I would not be against packaging him if a good trade opportunity arises. Ă–stlund is still young, will not be 22 until March, so more Rochester time for him is a good thing. I would prefer to see Helenius if there is another opportunity to call up a forward.
  21. You spelled Fox “News” wrong.
  22. Peters coaching 15 and under, what can go wrong? That is a tough age to handle, and Peters is a child himself. I am shocked that Peters ever got that job. I would be concerned about both his hockey chops and his leadership influence on that age group. Then I saw who was running the club.
