Never thought I’d see the day where US citizens, veterans even, are okay with the federal government, using armed goons, and throwing people, some American citizens, in jail with no warrant. You can spin it any way you want and say the violence is from the left. It’s ridiculous. These aren’t trained police officers who have had a background check. You are on to something. I had dinner with a troubled 35 year old man. He asked me a question on calculating a simple formula and rather than hear the explanation he stopped me and said never mind, he would just ask Chat Gpt. He wanted the final answer without knowing why it’s the answer. He was impressed that my answer was the same as Chat Gpt but saw no value in understanding why. Several other topics came up and he for asked advice, but then became disagreeable and told me to forget it, he would ask Chat GPT. I told him AI is not the tool for this kind of advice, the answer is not in a formula. He smirked and placated me. Later, he got political and told me things about a few current events that I never considered. He smuggly proclaimed I should get news from internet sources and podcasts and everything on TV news is a lie. He may be correct on the TV media, I don’t know. It seems to me that social media and AI can easily create confusion and division.

If you matched a lot of hockey you already knew that a healthy Norris is a better player than the past Dylan Cozens. It’s too early to say that he is going to make a difference, he has to be available to play. But he was productive in Preseason so that is a good sign.

Yes the Panthers did seem to have operation kill Hagel the other night which probably stems back to the playoffs when he clobbered Barkov. There seemed to be enough retribution either way in that game to end the whole thing. Maybe Hagel is hurt enough Tampa decided to bring up the 5 designated hitters from the Crunch to continue the mayhem. The weirdest thing that happened was 5 minuets after Florida scored it's 8th goal it was taken off the board because one of the players was supposed to be out of the game had an assist on it.

Oh yea shows "teams that care". This game got completely out of hand and honestly the refs should have ended it after the first period. This wasn't hockey. This shows they cared. What about is debatable.

I'm not sure the point you are making relative to what you responded to. I said he's looking better than cozens so that is an improvement. Full stop. I never said he was or wasn't going to be 'slightly better' We'll see if he is slightly better, or a lot better. I'm sure we are both hoping he is a lot better. My comment was nothing more than he looks 'better' and for now, until we consider the extent of it...that is a good thing to start with.

Every Atlantic team, except Sabres, and some metro teams, are going to play a really tough game on Panthers to get them as many injuries and lost points as possible. Panthers know this, and they are not going to sit there waiting for punches to come, they probably, as it seems, hit first. Interesting season coming!
