I don’t know what role Karmanos has been in this debacle, but from all of KA’s interviews and Embedded episodes, KA seems like more of a consensus builder. Karmanos role is first and foremost Rochester. I have no idea what else he does for Adams. Reaching consensus when under big constraints from above limits everyone and is not effective, it sounds like it should be. And if he is making unilateral decisions, those are coming from Terry. Adams says otherwise. At least with Botts and TM, for better or worse, I firmly got the feeling they were in charge. This is not to excuse KA poor job performance, but maybe we need someone who is more opinionated. We need someone with more GM talent and who is a better leader. Once Terry sees that, and the results that go with it, he might back off like he does with the Bills. see bold above.

Not holding out hope for actual change, but rather just wanting to see the franchise say SOMETHING about what they’re doing. This organization is so gutless that they don’t have the courage to come out and say they aren’t making any changes. Pegula is an egotistical, delusional coward. Worst owner in the entire NHL. 1
PASabreFan Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago For the record I want to have the conversation. At the least tho the title needs refreshing. Sharpen the focus. You could have several threads. This thread has become the Mega Offseason thread. 1
Flashsabre Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Sabres should just have a brand new person in the GM chair tonight for the lottery. No announcement, just a brand new person from outside the organization sitting in the Sabres chair.😁 1

They can grow just about everything. The tendency is to eat what is fresh and in season. Pretty much every region has things they specialize in, there is great diversification and they take great pride in whatever they produce. Also of note, like the rest of Europe, they import very little food from the US or Canada. We use chemicals and drugs in food here that they don't care to ingest. I have actually been to both Italy and Sicily. Many times while i was in the Navy. Best pizza by far is from Sicily as well as Veal. (I am not a Veal eater at all!!) Italy is very much about fresh everything!!! I 100% agree with what you said!! Best FRESH food is overseas. 1
Flashsabre Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago There’s the big organizational change gentlemen. We are back!!!😛 3
That Aud Smell Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago wtf - who does the local "newspaper" have covering the Sabres now?! per his announcement on Twitter, there's nobody slated to fill his vacancy. this is an indictment on both the local "newspaper" and the Sabres.
steveoath Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Just a small point. But Rob Blake was at the end of his contract. He wasn’t “axed” in the firing sense of the word.
Standing Room Smoking Cigs Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) This has reached a point of two men saying "I'm right, nothing to see here." Can't figure it out, we fired Bowman before he ended up with 5 more rings (maybe 6 rings in the aftermath). But it was the fan voice after petering out in the first round. That's the crux, they don't pay attention and ignore. A pox upon that thinking of being the smartest guy in the room, now leave me alone old guy is going to his afternoon constitutional before it rains!
