All of the preceding might be classic PASabrefanian hogwash, but I want to believe it moreso than Terry has quit on the Sabres. I might even have to believe it. I mean, if he's quit, that's really, you know, not good.

This is a lucid, intelligent, and well thought out commentary.   Loved the "time and pressure in Shawshankian tradition" part.  

Terry has to get the point of realizing that you have to compete for the cup to win the cup.  Perennially watching the playoffs must end.  

Adams talks about a plan for sustained excellence when he can't deliver occasional periodic excellence.  Maybe is time for an adjustment to the plan, or an adjustment to the people responsible (and accountable) for the plan?  

Instead we keep moving players out and watch them have great success in other places.

Pounded in the cornhole is the essence of being a fan of Buffalo sports.  You grow up having acquired the taste without even realizing it.  There is no not liking it anymore.  Like warm deli meat on a over salty bun with those nasty seeds in rye bread.
