I am curious to see where goalie Petteri Rimpinen lands. He was The best goaltender I have seen play for Finland in WJC since Saros, better than Luukkonen and Annunen. He is small but should be drafted in the third round.

Rimpinen to Kings as no 152. I consider that a steel.

Have you not seen the Sabres D moves? Also didn't Philly trade for Zegras?

Also Martone isn't that nasty and Nesbitt isn't a 1st round talent. Nesbitt was a bad pick.

Yes Philly did, but in this draft it's all size and meanness. 

I have seen the D moves but I think Clifton was overly maligned in a bad system, I don't like Timmins he's worse than Jokiharju was. Kesselring I like, but I do not think he's as good as some here think either. We still have Samuelsson and imo the D isn't all that much better and is still dependent on Power being better. Which might happen, but might not. The draft picks are all way down the road guys.

Thats all the Sabres have been doing - drafting big and nasty. The two guys from Utah are also nasty. You’ve been camping or something without internet the last 3 days??

I like Murtagh, visaghi, and gard a lot. All good picks that Buffalo couldn't have made anyways.

I'm on a delay. Currently in round 4. I'm on the west coast and sleep in. So I'm only talking about rounds 1-3 in that regard.

Nesbitt was picked higher than ranked I agree but if he turns into Adam Lowry (which he could) nobody will say they over drafted in 5 years from now. 

Martone to Mrtka is a bad comparison as it's forward to D but he is a power forward in the making and will body past defenders.

Amico is better than Bedkowski and has a much better chance of actually being in the NHL but yes, they are both big and mean. I hope Bedkowski works out. 

I also really like Murtaugh and we could have picked him instead of trading. He's not as good as Carter Bear but has some similarities.

I don't dislike Flyers draft at all. It's really solid. We didn't have even half their picks though and I'm not going to lose sleep over Amico who's 4yrs away from the NHL

Correct as the draft is fine but Adams makes or breaks his tenure from tonight to the end of next week. If the roster does not get some significant additions (with the anticipated trade of Byram) he’s cooked as is the 2025/2026 season

In KAs presser he said he was in talks about trading #9, but it didn't work out. He tried. KA does a lot of trying.....not much in the results category

Well so is Mrtka but fair enough. 

Yes they had more picks. I like what they did though and as you know I'm comparing their rebuild with ours as they did it differently.

I'm also just kind of looking at the competition and thinking playoffs. Draft plus trades. Next is free agency. Right now Montreal looks better. Detroit looks a little better. Ottawa same. Rangers same. Blue Jackets still better than us. I see no chance of playoffs for the Sabres as is.
