GDT Predators @ Sabres Sunday Dec 3rd 7pm MSG,ESPN+

Nice scrum

Jost took on a big guy and did good.

Power could have easily overpower the guy he tangled with.  He needs to get mean.  He is big, someone has to teach him to tap the strength.  It’s there if he wants to use it.

Anyone catch the slam-f bomb-slam-f bomb on broadcast after Cozens missed the open net? I wonder who it was?

Cozens, the guy isn't failing for a lack of effort tonight for sure.

Ryan Johnson is starting to show his inexperience, go get a solid vet dman and send him back to Rochester for a bit.

Can we get a soul to replace Jost? He sort of just exists except in scrums.

Predators are going to come out hitting hard in the third. They smell weakness. Krebs is a marked man. 100% chance of fisticuffs.

Yeah, but, but, but... isn't this supposed to be the "new NHL" of speed and skill that we've been building our team toward? We'll just skate past them, make some slick passes and score. Right?

Nashville has already turned down multiple offers and I'm not going to offer 4 1sts

Pay the four 1sts, re-sign, goalie issue well under control.

Preds broadcast called us a fragile team

So, the laser eye surgery worked for them. Wonder what went wrong here in Buffalo, appointment scheduled during a blizzard?

They went with the politically correct build.

Looking at the way they've drafted, and the way they coach, it's pretty clear what vision they have for the team, and it's one of finesse. Unfortunately, I believe the sport still favors the teams with a mix of skill and toughness. And for the hundredth time, I don't necessarily mean fighting, although the better teams have guys that can and will.
