LaLa was out of the lineup a lot too so you may be right.  I think Grier was here for 2 seasons and then came back for one.  The last 10+ years are all a blur .. since 2006 actually, so that is pushing 20 years.

I wonder if @GASabresIUFAN really has the answer or maybe he is just yanking our chains.

Lol.  The answer is as follows

Dawe 290 games

Dudley 279 games

Mitts 277 games

Patty 268 games

TNT 260 games

Grier 241 games

Drury 234 games

Briere 225 games

Jason Dawe playing more games than several Sabres legends...says a lot!

It’s why I wrote the question.  Mitts and TNT this season will pass the tenure of these legends. It’s also kind of sad how few games we really got out of Patty, Briere and Drury.

This is part of the reason that our best eras are so short.

In NHL history, 22 players list their birthplace as Buffalo New York.

I’m not asking for all 22, name the 11 who made it to 100 games.

Kaleta

Kane

Marcus Foligno

Orpik

Iafallo

That should be a start.  I'm not sure whether a player might list a suburb rather than the city.

Orpik grew up in Amherst but was born in San Francisco. Iafallo is listed as Eden.

The first three are correct

OK.  I think Bailey listed Williamsville and I'm not sure he hit 100 anyway.

What about Jack Brownschilde?  or do they list him as Amherst?

#7 494 games.

If I am reading this correctly, he was the 2nd Buffalonian to ever play an NHL game.

All 11 are post-1967 expansion.

Marcus Foligno was mentioned but not Nick?

That seems to be an oversight.

Absolutely. 1,081 games and counting.

We’re still missing the guy who played nearly 1,200

Kane is #2 with 1,180, 15 back of the leader.
