(OT) If you had to name a Sandwich Captain of your Sandwich Team, what kind of sandwich would it be?

Turkey sux.

As a lunch meat, turkey kicks ass. As hot food, I tend to agree with you.

I'd go with a buffalo chicken sub with jallopeños, pickles, extra hot sauce, blue cheese, lettuce, and olives

I mean the term is submarine sandwich. Hard to classify it as anything else. A hot dog on the other hand...

Turkey sux.

Turkey in itself is kinda boring but it does allow for the flavors of the bread, oil, or whatever your fancy to permeate through the sando and not get buried in the conglomeration of flavors.

Turkey sandwiches are awesome. The best part of Thanksgiving is the cold turkey sandwiches afterwards.

 

I usually add bacon, lettuce, raw spicy onions, salt and pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a generous slather of mayo on both sides of the bread.
