shrader
More weird but encouraging stats from the Sabres: Mark Pysyk (+46) has the 5th-best 5-on-5 scoring chance +/- in the NHL. Zemgus Girgensons (+42) ranks 7th and Jake McCabe (+39) ranks 13th. 5-on-5 coring chance +/-, so Sabres scoring chances minus opponent's scoring chances? That's one wordy name for a statistic. LGR4GM
I guess you sort of answered my question on this one. Where are you getting scoring chance game by game stats? I think war on ice tracks scoring chances.

MattPie
It's only 3pm here, the football game is on and I'm reading about the Sabres sucking, it's very odd and awesome When I was in Thailand a few years ago, I had the game on my phone live at 8AM while getting ready. (Bangkok is 12 hours different, so 8PM EST is 8AM Thailand time)

PASabreFan
I think war on ice tracks scoring chances. But they don't define it in their glossary? http://war-on-ice.com/glossary.html

Thorny
Scoring chance: A chance to score. Didn't anyone ever teach you not to use the words you are defining in the definition? :P
