One of my good friends is currently in Brussels and just posted on facebook that he was drinking Trappist Westvleteren! 10.2% alcohol. Awesome, awesome beer. Pretty hard to find in the U.S.

I've had Westy a couple of times but I'm sure it's way better where he is. I'm drinking some Rockmill Belgian Wit now. Have some of their cask aged triple too.

I wish I had a Park Pirminator (Parkbrauerie). Nice German Bock Beer. Can't get it here in the US but it was the beer of choice in my Army unit. Celebrated New Years with it. Will have Asti Spumante instead with the family while we watch the Sabres play. First period was unbalanced. They need to be more aggressive in their own end.
